  1. It would be even better if it was teams people cared about No surprise there, being AHL teams. Most people don't care about the AHL since it's below the highest level in the sport. That's how it is with every major competitive sport. On the bright side, it's a perfect match for Dorney, since Dorney is a park few people care about combined with an AHL hockey team that few people care about. A few people caring is a little high for Dorney.

  3. I don't see the Claw on the website.
  4. I'm assuming CPrundown is an unofficial/fan-run website from this.
  5. FACT: Because so many Americans are such pussies is the reason why we won't get any of those REALLY FUCKING AWESOME Intamin coasters here in the US. So next time someone sees some insanely kick-ass Intamin being built in Europe, China, Japan, etc, and they complain about why we don't get those rides in the US, just remember Skyrush and that Americans are pussies. That is all. We've always been more of a complaining country than a logical country...
  6. The park has FOUR woodies and one of them is currently being RMC'd. But one more woodie? What makes the other three "non-bonafide" woodies? The definition of bonafide is "real". Is this like when enthusiasts complain about El Toro - the completely wooden coaster made entirely out of wood - is not reeeaaaallly a wooden coaster? Really it has two because Iron Hurler will not be wooden and Woodstock Express is a kids coaster (albeit a very good one). I mean a GG or GCI woodie like Prowler or Mystic Timbers. And like I said I can live with a refurbish of Grizzly too. I do not believe that Boldikus counted Hurler. 1. Grizzly 2. Woodstock Express 3. Rebel Yell A 4. Rebel Yell B All ARE bonafide wooden coasters. So what if they're on the older, or less thrilling side? Do I think the park could benefit from a modern woodie? Yes. But it's not necessary right now. If not then Grizzly should get a refurbishment of some sort, either by GCI like Ghostrider or in house like Thunderhawk. I like it but it could be better if it was less brutally shaky. I mean we were told we'd never get an RMC either. Cedar Fair really likes the company so it would not surprise me to see KD get a product from them sometime in the future. LOL wut? GCIs and RMCs are nothing alike. One feels like a wooden coaster and the other feels like a steel coaster. Is that better?
  7. Grizzly was a great ride when I rode it in 2015. If it was fine after 33 years it should be fine after another 2.
  8. The only thing a GCI does that an RMC doesn't is close an imaginary hole created by enthusiasts. Apart from going upside down, I find their experiences to be fairly similar. I don't understand what goes on in the minds of those people.
  9. From what I've seen with new rides, especially Fury 325, a new ride is automatically terrible if it doesn't break the top 3 list.
  10. Is one part of a ride not allowed to be adjacent to another part of a ride without being on separate tracks? If the dual-width structure is there, maybe two parts of the same track running parallel? I know it's a stretch, parallel track would be unprecedented.
  11. I'm sure all of the engineers on this site can confirm that for you. They really showed us when Rougarou was announced
  12. Maybe the second track is in the shed.
  13. Alright the offseason ended for this park why is there an argument over a junior invert
  14. I hope there's a light house so the boats naval vessels can safely travel
  15. Same thoughts here. As long as it's better than The Joker, I'll be happy. This is the Kings Dominion thread, you either match I305's intensity or go home.
  16. I'm betting it stays a MCBR, but it will probably fly through it without slowing down... New Texas Giant style! Also, in one of the newer photos you can clearly see a drone flying over the Construction site. I'm betting CP is already shooting some great construction footage for whenever they do announce this coaster. Maybe it's for some great before and after shots?? Interlocking MCBRs
  17. He not only brought light to this thread but in is first shot. What a great start.
  18. Cedar Point should build a japanese-style jet coaster that travels through the park, possibly over a midway. They could market it as a Scenic Railway and anger coaster enthusiasts and intrigue normal people. #CP2020 right? Interlocking helix
  19. Why didn't Schwarzkopf propose a hypercoaster
