Height limit is only around 30 feet back in that area I believe. Can't really build a coaster there. Is there a source other than a dippin dots cart that confirms that? There's a multitude of reasons that enthusiasts use to explain why their respective parks haven't built anything notable. This is when they rezoned the whole park when they put possessed in. Was that a 540 elevation limit I see? #DorneyPolerCoaster2018

Speaking of Mean Streak, it will make a cameo appearance soon because HERE COMES CEDAR POINT! Cleveland at night Speaking of cities, does anyone happen to know what city this could be? I took this last year at about 9 pm on a 16 hour bus ride from central Jersey to Cincinnati that started at 6:30 in the morning (if that helps) And we arrive! Breakers Express parking lot the following morning Walking to the Marina Gate We're here Lift hill shot Valravn definitely made the marina gate more exciting The park opened, to Millennium Force! We wasted our hour of early entry waiting for Millennium Force (it didn't open) Waiting Still waiting Waiting some more On the verge of giving up Yeah we gave up To Maverick! The line was still fairly short Millennium Force fans beware Best ride in the park Stacking at Cedar Point? I added a nature to the TR, I love the environment Next we went to the town hall But it wasn't for this Mean Streak replica... Another unintentional cliffhanger... -

17!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Maybe #itllneveropen will soon refer to Kings Dominion in 2018. I better visit KD at least once next year. I planned to have plans to go in July but that never happened. Intimidator 305 should be renamed Intimidated 305, because nothing says scary like the threat of being taken down. Similarly, Dominator will become Dominated by cranes and wrecking balls Rebel Yell can yell all it wants but the rebels are going to win In just a few months, Volcano will be nothing more than a Plain Hurler will be Hurled into the past as it will become nothing more than memories Anaconda can die -

I love that page so much. Those 16 supporters will definitely make KD rethink their plans... 16!?!?!? It seems like just a few minutes ago there were 14 There will be 100 supporters in no time. Kings Dominion may go the way of Geauga Lake When Lakemont Park outlives a park you know something is wrong -

Do you know where you sat? if you don't it's okay because I forget already There might be a difference between the front and back. Looking foreword to the rest of the trip report? I am too so HERE'S SOME MORE!!!! Where could we be? It's everyone's favorite park on Lake Erie! Wait Cedar Point is on Lake Erie. It's Waldameer. First ride was Ravine Flyer II I see a drop tower And it's the good kind And they have a log flume! I'm not sure if there's a good kind of log flume but this was definitely a log flume This ride kind of scares me. It was shaking a lot Temporarily leaving the park And we're back! Comet time I do say it is fairly decent. I forget where this was taken No thanks I'll do this one Lakemont Park has one of these so you know they're not trying to be bad The flat ride collection is nice here. Not Canada's Wonderland level, but close to Delgrosso's This was so close to being my #150 A credit is a credit ##149 And we got dots Leaving the park because we have somewhere to be But where could that be? And just like that, Waldameer is done. There are no pictures of Steel Dragon because it decided to be broken that day Because you all love reviews I think Ravine Flyer II: It wasn't the smoothest but it was smoother than Voyage. In other words, it was smooth but I want it to be smoother. You get whipped over the drop in the back . The airtime was not as good as Voyage, but definitely there. Top 10? Top 10! Comet: I think I was second row from the back on this one. Nobody cares about this ride enough so they just let in enough people to fill the train so the first in line are the first to choose. It wasn't thrilling at all, but looking back, I think it was meant to not be that thrilling. Ravine Flyer III: A credit is a credit. Drop Tower (whatever it's called): Just like the one at Delgrosso's, it was amazing. Nobody in my group knew about the amazingness of these rides, so they were a little skeptical when I said it could beat up the one at KI or KD in a fight, especially considering it's height. They didn't seem too impressed by the height when we were at the top, but it had an amazing view of Lake Erie. When we hit the brakes after the drop, everyone was telling me how it was amazing. Man, I love being right. Flume (whatever it's called): I'm not much of a log flume connoisseur, but I do enjoy the one at Knoebels more. This park was an interesting park. They abolished cash so you need to get a 'Wally Card'. It must be hard for perfectionists to get a Wally Card and leave 17 cents on it. The food was very cheap at the park. With 10 USD, I got a corn dog and some sort of icee and had enough left to get a cheeseburger. At other parks, 10 USD can get you about half of a complete meal. I would go back to the park, but I wouldn't drive the ~5 hours for just the park. I would go there to break up long car rides, perhaps on the way to Cedar Point. Looking back, I think that's the only reason we went to Waldameer. Up next: Another park on Lake Erie you may have heard of. -

How is that man not employed by Cedar Fair already?!! Has all of the answers. The guy at the Dippin' Dots cart at Dorney Park told me that's exactly what Valleyfair has been trying to do. They were going to convert Wild Thing into a floorless coaster last year, build a dive coaster this year, and build a GCI woodie next year, but the bigger parks never learn that stealing is bad.

Last Canada's Wonderland pictures Dragon Fire! They should add a kiddie coaster with a lift hill perpendicular to Dragon Fire's What park would steal a kiddie coaster? Why did I take this picture Dragon Fire was rather enjoyable Wild Beast time I'm intrigued by the thought that other people don't do things the same way we do it in America Sunset picture because there's a sunset and I can take pictures Finally getting on the Bat The only rerides we got were Skyhawk, Sledgehammer and Behemoth I wanted to ride Leviathan again but my group said no And so Canada's Wonderland ends I wonder what I would add now Wonder Mountain's Guardian: It was definitely an interesting ride. I would have enjoyed it more if there was more roller coaster parts. I had the highest score of the train, so I'm satisfied Leviathan: I didn't expect to like Leviathan as much as I did. I was a bit underwhelmed by Fury 325 I'm gonna get lynched and the popular opinion on this website seems to be Fury is a bigger, better Leviathan. The drop is very similar on the two rides, but after that they are different. I rode in the back, and the airtime on every spot designed for airtime was very enjoyable. I'm not sure if the trims were turned off or not, but they were much less noticeable than the trim brake on Fury. I'll get lynched and come out and say that I liked Leviathan more than Fury. Skyhawk: My only problem is the short ride cycle. Right as I got going, the ride began going down. When I rode it again at night, I couldn't get any complete flips. If Dorney got one of these "if" I would go on and off until I mastered the flipping, then keep riding because it's a fun ride. Behemoth: I was expecting a ride like Diamondback or Intimidator, one good airtime moment and the rest being rather forceless. I don't know if it was the funky row, but I really enjoyed Behemoth. The trims were barely noticeable and the airtime was there on each hill. Probably my favorite B&M hyper coaster. Backlot Stunt Coaster: This one was a bit of a disappointment. It didn't stop at all where the fire would be, and it felt more empty than the ones at Kings Island and Kings Dominion. Sledgehammer: I was very impressed by this flat ride. The only takeaway for me was that the restraints weren't the most man friendly. The park has a very good amount of flat rides. However, my group only made it on this one and Skyhawk Flight Deck: No Time Warp: I had a good ride on the Volare at Coney Island, but this one wasn't as smooth. The one at Coney Island was very smooth, but jerked me around. This one was just as jerky and not as smooth. If there isn't a line, I would maybe do it again probably. Mighty Canadian Minebuster: I could sense that the ride would have been good if I didn't ride in a wheel seat. I would have been in a middle row, but the person I rode with enjoys putting people in pain. Vortex: If anyone with a stellar memory cared to read my trip report from last year, you would know that Iron Dragon had a cult following. That was an understatement. Iron Dragon was our equivalent of Skull Mountain, but more. With that being said, inevitably, I would compare Vortex to Iron Dragon. The two rides have their high points and low points. Vortex is faster and more intense than Iron Dragon, but I found it to be a little rough. Thunder Run: It's a credit Wild Beast: I forget if the cars were 4 or 6 seaters but I remember having an enjoyable ride on this. Not as good as normal Beast, but very few rides are as good as Beast. It was smooth for a 30+ year old woodie. Bat: It was a boomerang. Not much else I can say about it. Overall, I enjoyed this park a lot. It easily makes my top 5 parks, and I would say it's my 3rd favorite Cedar Fair park behind Cedar Point and Kings Island. The operations were excellent, even on the lower capacity rides. Last year, I wanted to ride the Windseeker at Cedar Point, and I ended up riding every other Windseeker I encountered. This year, I made it on the CP Windseeker but missed this one . If I could find a place to live strategically placed between Cedar Point and Canada's Wonderland, I would be set for life. (Knoebels would be farther away, though) Up next: A certain park in Pennsylvania (not the one you're thinking of, coasterbill) -

Suggestion: Start authoritatively claiming this. Do it enough and it becomes true, like "Leviathan was intended for Knotts and switched at the last minute!" Who is to say that it isn't a fact? Facts are whatever you believe, man. The chinaman is not the issue. The thing is that some people will think I'm serious. Someone pointed out that Hydra wasn't in the concept art for Dorney Park's 2017 addition and I think one person believed Hydra was going. I would confirm or deny that claim but there's always a chance of someone from the group reading this. -

Canada's Wonderland! Canada's Wonderland! Canada's Wonderland! Canada's Wonderland! CANADA'S WONDERLAND! Was it bad? Was it good? THE FIRST ONE. THE FIRST ONE. IT WAS VERY BAD. STAY OFF SLCS And here we find a Zamperla Volare Soarin' Eagle at Coney Island wasn't bad at all. Could this be better? No, it can't. It wasn't that bad, but Soarin' Eagle is more human friendly Around this time we saw someone going crazy on Skyhawk. I managed to get 6 flips and i think the highest of that cycle was 9 I believe this is Minebuster Missed Windseeker credit So I was in line for the second row but the person I rode with decided to trade places with the people in the 3rd row The third row is a wheel seat Wheel seats are a no no Those waterfalls provide air conditioning for the entire park, including the offices! A park worker said that during the WMG tour Temporarily leaving the park We have a tendency to have lunch in the park and dinner somewhere else Hugging a support beam as a train goes by is a very underrated experience All B&Ms are extremely photogenic What's that I see? Is this a Canada thing If I recall correctly, I hugged the support beam to the left of the largest one. I'm not sure if I like the mountain or the eiffel towers better The mountain can fit more than an observation deck -

We didn't get to go to Marineland but we did go to Canada's Wonderland and HERE ARE MORE PICTURES TO PROVE THAT WE DID! We planned to get WMG and Leviathan before the park opened but the Leviathan tour took too long The line was still rather short "It was 26 degrees in Canada" Just wait for me to compare this to Fury In line for Bat We didn't ride it because the line was long and we had somewhere to be I wanted to get Windseeker but we skipped it Skyhawk had a short line Behemoth! Leviathan and Behemoth have very nice entrance areas. French! I dont know about you, but a splashdown could probably go there Kings Island probably stole it with Diamondback I insisted on riding the funky row on the first car but the other people I was with chose the front. Lighting change! Backlot! Stunt Coaster! This park has a huge flat ride collection. Payphone with a keyboard! Maybe Mind Eraser was just a bad ride because Six Flags Or could it have been a warning? People are waiting so it must be a good ride! I swear this cliffhanger was unintentional... -
