Actually, So Cal had one of the wettest winters in more than a decade this year. That may have thrown them off schedule considering weather isn't typically a factor in LA.

Hopefully someday.... Hate to be a downer.....but it better be QUICK! The $22+ Million investment with Mack's new coaster in Silver Dollar City will suck all the St Louis market away! You've got a way better park in each direction 3+ hours away from St Louis: Silver Dollar City, Worlds of Fun KC and Holiday World. All of which are making significant capital purchases to improve their park and keep people engaged with coming back! I'm not wasting money on SFStL next year and will be doing both HW and SDC instead, sorry to say. And SFStL is 25 mins away... Awww come on, you don't think a Joker clone will be a viable.competitor??

I always love reading this report every year, Six Flags and Cedar Fair are doing exceptionally well. Their respective strategies appear to be paying off.

Certainly would be interesting having a Blitz right next to Xcelerator. I think a mega lite would be more likely budget and spacewise though, and I'd love Knott's forever for it

Most overrated=Goliath (SFOG)-It's a great ride, but there are other B&M hypers that are more interesting. I just wasnt blown away by it like I thought I'd be. Definitely better than Nitro, and Intimidator though Most underrated=Apollo's Chariot-Was definitely surprised and blown away by it. The backseat provides some strong air and the layout is unique and feels like the old school B&M that it is.

It seems like a hyper would be a bit over the top monetary wise after all the money they've spent in the past 3-4 years. Though it would kind of send a warning signal to Holiday World like "we're coming for your jugular".

You'd be surprised. As someone said above, the park is about a 30-minute drive from Palmdale, where a large percentage of the population talks like that. The 'cash me outside' girl is from the south, they speak with a southern accent in the Antelope Valley?? *confused face* But the "cash me outside" girl didn't really speak with a southern accent. It was more of a deliberate ghetto dialect. She's from Florida...
