Hi all, we are already doing some trip planning for the upcoming year. We will be stopping at SFSL and plan on doing the whole amusement park on Sunday August 6th. The park hasn't announced their operating schedule yet for the upcoming year so I was wondering what the likely park hours will be and how the crowds will likely be that day. Flash Pass is an option for us. Also, is there any other random tidbits I should know about the park? Thanks in advance!

I feel like some enthusiasts have actually died while reading the last few posts in this thread... sarcasm or not.

Hasn't for years. I think they stopped using it before or shortly after the conversion I might be biased, but I think I slightly prefer SFDK's version to WT and standard V2 versions. I think I remember reading that it had a lot of issues with the holding brake so they just called it quits and stopped using it, without bothering to fix it.

PS: While I've seen the master plan for CGA, could they have picked a louder coaster type for a park where the neighbors are insufferably annoying about noise to the point where Gold Striker is now covered in sound walls and tunnels? Short of relocating an old school B&M I really don't know if it's possible. The LIMS on impulse coasters sound like they're screaming bloody murder, even when parking the train in the station at only a few MPH. This is so true... "Not very crowded" is an understatement. The water park is the only reason that place still exists. This is unfortunately a very true statement. Can always go for a ride on Talon though.
