Any news on the possible coaster event? Have you made contact? I really hope this happens, I would be ecstatic if they could bring it back. If they did auctions/giveaways like at some ace events that would be so cool. Update: I just drove past the park today. The bulldozer was plowing some land closer to the dorms now. The blue catwalks on the neon sign have been removed, this is the first sign i've seen of deconstruction of the sign. Bull dozer clearing lands closer to the dorms The speed slides are up!

Just drove past the park today. The sign is still standing, and the slides are MASSIVE. The slide on the left does look a bit brown in the day light. Pictures coming later (I have to update software on my computer)

It appears that they have added guard rails on the stairs at the the top.

I'm pretty sure we're all reading into this too much. I doubt the tweets have anything to do with upcoming attractions. And when they said "GoWild" I'm 95% sure they were just saying that because they were at a wild game, not to hint at future attractions.

They did mention a permit for an ICEE stand. I'm assuming that was the ICEE mix it up near the games island that was taken out. Anyone else having trouble seeing the comments on the blog?

I'm pretty sure valleyfairzone meant that there are rumors, and they used an expression. I doubt the expression has to do with the attraction. By the way, snow, valleyfairzone isn't affiliated with valleyfair, and they are known for satire humor. So I doubt valleyfair told them to hint at 2016.

I just learned this today, the slide towers will only be ten feet shorter than xtreme swing! I'm actually nervous to ride these. After seeing the trip report from chill out I hope to see an event along those lines come to vf!

I'm assuming they'll start putting in the fiberglass of the slide soon. May can't come soon enough.

The fountains would have to be protected in some way. You wouldn't believe what some teenagers would to do those if they were exposed.

The tower looks to be at its full height though. If you notice the left half is taller then the right half of the tower. So I'm assuming the taller slides will go on the left side.
