I also don"t like the iron cyclone idea, but I think SFNE is trying to bring interest back into that area with the NESS. Cyclone has had really low ridership the past few times I've gone, so my guess is that they're drawing people to that section of the park so more people ride and its bigger news when it gets iron horse treatment somewhere down the road.
I think in the next couple years we could see a Premier launched coaster and probably a tsunami soaker or flying scooters pretty soon as well.
Hi all,
Stopped by the park and saw TWO new rides!
I immediately saw a change in the skyline.
Introducing the tallest ride in the park, Sky Chutes!! This ride hoists guest up 100+ feet before floating them gently down.
Also, I saw the new Ferris Wheel!
I don't think that one needs any explanation.
Also, I saw some land cleared for construction...
I'm told Sky Chutes' neighbor will be a "fun family thrill".
That's all for now!

July 1973:
Happy 4th everyone! Hope it's safe and fun!
I have more news about the park!
2 rides were announced today:
The Forest Swings, a fast spinning swing ride in the center of the park.
It will sit in a fenced in area and be one of our most stunning and iconic attractions.
Also announced were the Riverside Zoomers!
This ride lets everyone experience driving, taking 2 people per car on a relaxing road trip through the woods.
That's all for today. There seems to be a lot of construction going on lately....I've seen a lot of metal bars and some thick cables around. I'll keep you posted!

Yeah so I live in CT......we don't have to much.
This is the tallest building in my town:
but nearby is the capital city or hartford, which has a beautiful skyline!
Hi guys, this is something I thought could be a cool forum. I want to know if anyone has any drawings, photos, paintings, desgins, etc. of rides and park that they want to share. Post away! Or don't.
I'm Ryan, I'm fifteen, and I live in the boring little state known as Connecticut.
I've been to Cedar Point, Six Flags New England, lake Compounce, Kennywood, and Hersheypark. I've ridden 33 roller coasters.
My favorites are Boulder Dash, SFNE Bizarro, and Millenium Force.
And I'm also a big fan of movies......so......yeah.
Darn....I wanted to see RMC come in. (I was never too big on Roar)
Oh well.
This is my first post on this thread.....I like the park, but I do have some suggestions:
1. This has bothered me the whole time I've been reading: put fences around your paths!!!!!!!! It just looks unrealistic and kinda lazy without them.
2. I think you could do more with the ride logos and signs. You could put them on the porch pillars in the western set so they arent placed in the middle of a garden. Or maybe attach them to a station...just my opinion.
I know, I'm very critical. This is a good park, I just noticed those things while I read.
I look forward to hearing more about this park!
^^I definitely plan to continue, probably dailyish updates on construction, then maybe every 2-3 once the park opens.
^^I see what you mean. I'll take that into consideration if I ever remodel the area.
June 1973:
Hi everyone! I stopped by today to see what's new at the park! If you unscrambled yesterday's hint, you know the first ride announced is a Carousel!
Cattermole's Carousel is a classic ride! Surrounded by gardens, it will be among the first rides that guest will see. It will certainly be a hit with guests of all ages!
That's the news for today!
Oh, I almost forgot. They're announcing TWO more of the rides soon!
I asked if I could share any hints with the public. They gave me these two pictures:
I haven't got a clue what these mean. Any guesses?

Construction is going quite well on the park! I stopped by today and have some photos to share!
The Main Entrance Plaza and building look great!
Here's another angle.
I can't wait to show you more!
I received some information on the rides the park will have! We will have ten rides that are all family friendly, but some will be family thrills.
I can't say what they are, but here's a hint on the first one: OSCLURAE.
Hi TPR, this is my first attempt at a legitimate RCT3 timeline park. It will show the story of Riversfield park as it progresses and grows. Positive feedback and constructive criticism are welcomed.
(Now speaking in character.)
February 1973:
Hi, all! Reg Jameson here! I'm a PR rep for the new amusement park! As you know, the park was proposed a year or so ago, and I'm happy to report that we were approved!
I received this letter yesterday:
Exciting! I think he meant to say "forested".
It's a very beautiful location.
