  1. ^I doubt it was that strategic, I honestly believe it was just plain ignorance of the signs. Even if he had read the posted warnings, he may have still used them as an excuse to get attention when he couldn't ride.
  2. Wow, that seems like (and is) a huge waste of money, after spending all of the time and effort to get it operating they just decide to scrap it. At least S&S got their money from it...
  3. I'm disappointed in this, as everybody else seems to be. It's more a remake of Bullfrog's Theme Park than anything remotely similar to the RCT series. I hope the PC version of this doesn't follow the same graphics model or God forbid game model.
  4. I have no doubt that a good portion of the GP will view this as negative press, but the signs at the ride entrance and station were neglected and the decision comes purely in the best interest of the safety of the rider. People point to the fact that he's done military service so "the least you could do is award him one roller coaster ride," but there are certain risks you accept in going into the armed forces, and exclusion from certain activities due to amputation is a big one of them.
  5. Even in purchasing a state-of-the-art coaster from a top of the line American company, the designers have still manged to make this look like the most stereotypically Japanese ride ever. I love it.
  6. SFGAm's 40th Anniversary Season will be in 2016, so I'll save the generic revitalization efforts until then. (I want them to follow a KD type route for that year, repainting rides, refurbishing, landscaping, and possibly brick paving.) For 2015, I'd like to see either a SkyScreamer or a Screamin' Swing in the spot vacated by Ragin' Cajun. Giant Barn Swing was fantastic and I'd love to see one of them at my home park. I also love swing rides and heights, so I think a StarFlyer would be a perfect ride type for somebody like myself.
  7. Good to see that they've kicked it into a higher gear for the dive loop, it's going up at a nice pace. The schedule was designed with several days of emergency weather leeway, so they are still aiming for the Memorial Day Weekend opening that we've been promised.
  8. I had heard about the seat belts on Outlaw Run but Hank Salemi did explicitly say that the ride will open without them, whether that actually holds up remains to be seen but I can't see the park adding them at this stage even though the ride is a fair way's away from opening.
  9. This thing is massive, can't wait to see (and ride) just how impressive the final product is.
  10. Raging Bull has okay airtime on the few camelbacks, but the trim and MCBR totally ruin the potential the ride has. Fortunately, though, the first drop is amazing and is the ride's saving grace.
