What is your next park?
beastadat replied to onewheeled999's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Busch Gardens for Tampa. Yes I know having to wait almost half a year to get to a park. But I am going to Canada for Christmas and I will head on over to the indoor waterpark. The good part is that my hotel is right next to a drop tower, even though its closed. Oh well, I hope Falcons Fury will be a blast. -

What is your next park?
beastadat replied to onewheeled999's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Next park is Universal Studios Florida for Halloween Horror Nights 23!!! Going the first weekend of the event so I'll one of the first to experience it for this year. Hopefully Bill & Ted's show this year is as great as in the Hollywood version of it. Also, Walking Dead all over the park? Seems exciting with all the fog juice! -
I know the Imagineers will pull it off, I want Avatar land to be done. It's just going to be very interesting to how it looks. If Disney will make it as immersive as Cars Land is then we got a Winner. What suck's is that we won't see this Avatar Land Project start construction until late this year or maybe not even start this year. (They need to complete the Lion King Theater) I wouldn't be surprised if by next summer the Avatar project will only have some buildings halfway constructed. Most likely 2015 will be the year to enter Pandora.

What is the best floorless?
beastadat replied to ddaver177's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
The Best Floorless coaster? 1) Easily Kraken @ SeaWorld Orlando; the ride is great and one of the best B&M's created, right behind Shreika, Tatsu, Montu, Leviathon, and Kumba. 2) Hair Raiser; The view and location raises your hair it's self. 3) Scream; Unique one 4) The coaster that keeps changing names; Ehhh... -
^ Most likely, but just hopefully. If you look at it Disney and Universal has their own Drop Towers that are themed. Disney's TOT is very impressive but If universal would at least give some theming like Universal's Drop of Doom where they added theming to the top would be interesting to see Busch Gardens do something similar. Plus, I think Busch Gardens should make it not become an Eye-Sore because it's going to be visible from almost every part of the park (Shreika is only 200 ft. and almost seen throughout the whole park, while Falcons Fury is going to be 330 ft.)

^^ Well thanks for reminding me about that. I just wonder how the Imagineers would pull that off. I do hope Disney uses that dragon thing they used for Fantasyland's Expansion opening although that fire breathing effect won't happen. I wonder if that Dragon contraption is a test for a night-time show for Disney's Animal Kingdom?

There's hundreds of ideas that many Theme Park Geeks, like us, that creates their own Theme Park. One perfect place for a NEW theme park is at Walt Disney World. WDW has so much land for new Parks, Hotels, Golf Courses, and any more ideas the Imagineers have. So, I have decided to create a Topic of your ideas for a future Disney Theme Park. Now, here's how this topic works: 1) Create a Name for the park, with the theme; (Be smart, and make sure your theme is under the Disney Name, and something that Disney could actually create) 2) What rides would your Disney Park have? 3) It needs to be at WDW(Part of the "game") So no Magic Kingdom Style Park, nor Studio-Themed, or Animals or World Showcase. 4) Would it have the high theming like DisneySea or low theming like Disney's Hollywood Studios? 5) What part of Walt Disney World will it be located at? 6) What will be the park's icon? 7) What is your target audience? (Disney always targets Family, but some times they target, bigger kids or younger kids; ex. Tower of Terror/Teens) 8) Do the rides in your park have the rights to the certain characters? (To make it reasonable and realistic, Marvel is not included as Universal owns the Theme Park Rights for Marvel Characters east of the Mississippi) 9) Will it be a half-day park experience or a full-day experience? 10) What will be the size of the park? (Range from Animal Kingdom (The Biggest) to Hollywood Studios (The Smallest)) Enjoy and have fun in this Topic and I hope to hear some awesome ideas. **Keep it Disney-Rated**

^ I just hope that Disney puts some weird looking animals that look Pandora-like and to add to the animal-Pandora effect, and they better hide the blue people. At the same time it will be interesting if Avatarland includes buildings that are Army-Type like the movie. If they do then it will kill the aspect of having an "All-Natural Park".

I though Disney's ANIMAL Kingdom was suppose to be a park about 3 types of animals; Real, The Past, and Fantasy. The Fantasy Animals were suppose to come but some Imagineer took it to Universal. But where does Avatar go in the 3? There not real, they never existed but is this the Imagineers answer to fantasy animals? I though DAK was for atleast animal look a likes not human look a likes. If they want a movie land for Avatar then move it to DHS if not give the rights to Universal and let Universal party with that. Even though it sounds like Avatarland will have an awe-inspiring views and looks and most likely a GREAT E-Ticket ride it just doesn't Fit in. I think everybody that disagrees likes the idea of the land but not the park it will be located in. Maybe have Avatarland move to DHS? Or maybe have Avatarland start up a WHOLE new idea of a NEW Disney Theme Park?

Busch Gardens Tampa always wants thrills that's good, but when does it get a fully themed ride? Most likely the people of SeaWorld (Who also owns the Busch Garden Parks) may have used Antarctica as a "Test" for how well they create themed lands. Now, the Egypt section of the Park with Montu has theming and it is great which also is the ideal place to add a Themed Dark Ride or some type of highly themed ride. Maybe a ride like Joris in da Dark? (Might have spelled it wrong) But after Falcon's Fury announcement and the rumors of Gwazi coming down to be replaced by another roller coaster and the current deficits that SeaWorld is facing with money issues, you may not see a new themed ride into the 2020's. And speaking about Falcon's Fury does anyone know if Busch Gardens is going to add some type of design to the top of the tower or just pick one color? I hope they pick design and not just pick the color blue and have the text; "Busch Gardens Tampa" written on it.

If the rumor about Disney's Hollywood Studios receiving a 500 Million dollar gift is true, what do you think they'll spend it on? When DCA got 1 Billion they spent it on; Buena Vista Street, Cars Land, Little Mermaid, World of Color, Refurbishment of almost every ride in the Boardwalk area as well as Toy Story Midway Mania. That's 2 New Lands, 1 New Ride, 1 New Show, and about 5 or more Re-Themed Ride as well as other park improvements totals to 1 Billion? DHS got about half so to split the rumors most likely Star Wars Land will get the big chunk, Cars Land/Monsters Inc. will get another chunk and maybe see that new dark ride in where Theater of the Stars is. I also am in favor of removing that hat that makes no sense and removing it somewhere else like the Entrance of maybe in the middle of the lake that's in front of DHS or maybe even move it to a Hotel or DTD? Also, I heard an interesting post that Star Wars land were to be true you can see Indiana Jones be removed or actually have some type of structure cover the right side of that stage so that people in Star Wars land can't view the fire/show from the land and ruin the whole "In the Universe" theme to it.

I'm new here. I've been reading TPR posts, videos and reviews for a while and decided I should finally join. Parks I been to and In my favorite order: 1) Magic Kingdom; Who doesn't enjoy the Magic Kingdom? 2) Busch Gardens Tampa; One of the best collections of Roller Coasters, and thrills. 3) Epcot; Who doesn't enjoy riding Test Track or Sorain' over California? Can't forget about traveling to Mexico without Border Patrol. 4) Universal's Islands of Adventure; Spiderman, Jurassic-Park, Potter-Land, Hulk. 5) Disney's Animal Kingdom; Best themed park in the world right after DisneySea and who doesn't enjoy Disco Yeti? (Haven't been to DisneySea yet, but TPR's reviews are positive and the pictures/videos of it are just so fun to watch) 6) Universal Studios Florida; Great rides and with Harry-Potter's Diagon Alley Expansion it will most likely move up the list. 7) Disney's Hollywood Studios; BEST Tower of Terror, ROCK N' VEKOMA, and the future is looking bright. Out of all Disney Parks it's missing something important theming; the only theming there is TOT and Hollywood. 8) SeaWorld Orlando; Shamu, Kraken, Manta, great collection of coasters and of course Antarctica but it still looks kinda bland. My Upcoming Park Visits: -Universal's Halloween Horror Nights; I'm going for the 2nd day of the event, hopefully they do something different. -Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure; Finally the Happiest place on Earth I'm ready to take on TPR.
