  1. ANNOUNCED: - Retracking of Legend (working with GCI) for "smoother ride and additional airtime" - Additional support structure on first drop - New THEMED tunnel underneath Frightful Falls - Reprofiling of helix exit to include a double down - Extensive track work on Voyage Full details here: http://www.holidayworld.com/holiblog/2016/01/14/the-legend-reborn/ Graphics of Reprofiling of helix exit and turn before Frightful Falls: Helix exit Turn before Frightful Falls
  2. Where are you referring to? I just check both cams and didn't see anything different (although the lighting at this time of day isn't great).
  3. The black plastic bag is probably covering an umbrella at a table for the burger place right next to where they're standing.
  4. I wonder if the "head things" pun was intended? (Legend of Sleepy Hollow...headless horseman...get it, get it?)
  5. Those only exist in Roller Coaster Tycoon. Like balloon stalls. Balloon Stalls should be a thing. Anyways, the GCI idea definitely carries the most weight. The "Getting Closer, Interested?" seemed awkward and now it would make sense why it's phrased like that. It would also make sense seeing all of the track coming off and the type of material delivered. A GCI retrack would maintain the traditional coaster feel but make for a much more enjoyable ride with the laterals (see the GCI Coney Island Cyclone refurb as an example).
  6. I put it into a solver and it couldn't make any solutions with all of the letters but one result that might fit is "bathing suits". I'm not sure how that fits with what is going on at HW but it was the only result that seems to be a remotely possible clue. Here is the full list. We're all insane.
  7. Paula is at it again. From HW Twitter: I have attached screenshots of each "scene" and transition in the video. Let's see what we can figure out.
  8. Go see the latest Holiblog. Survey markers! Looks like footing markers to me
  9. Confirmed: the Legend will be running backwards, upside down, spinning, and have a barrel roll. (Not actually confirmed)
  10. ^ then it better be getting a whole heck of a lot of track work first
  11. Since you noted the lazy river...the idea of a lazy river "people mover" from Hyena Falls to the Bakuli area could be a possibility
  12. Doubtful since nearby Kentucky Kingdom is doing the same thing.
  13. ^ I've always thought that in the stairway of The Raven they need some signs or graphics explaining the story behind the name or excerpts of the poem itself. The plain black walls aren't exactly exciting.
  14. This could be a red herring, but as I see it: pallets of wood with the Raven in the background. Could just be wood for general maintenance, could be wood for a new element.
  15. Can the test dummies be bought separately? Cuz that could be fun
  16. I find it odd that we haven't heard about anything for 2016 yet. Nothing big, of course, but wouldn't you expect SOMETHING announced by now? Even if it's as simple as a new pathway to enhance people flow. And that leads me to another thought, a couple of years ago I believe that announced the parking lots would be paved. It seems like that has gotten pushed back now. I would assume it would be because of the Thunderbird investment (paving an area that large is a huge financial undertaking), and really, the small amount of time people spend in the parking lot doesn't make it a huge priority investment-wise.
  17. Since its 2015 and everything is "offensive" or "culturally insensitive", I don't see St Patrick's Day happening
  18. ^ I think that's the best price. It's definitely worth it, if you take advantage of everything that is offered.
  19. ^ the entire video was basically him filming his "adventures". I'm pretty confident most of it was self-produced (as far as gathering footage goes). The HW clips appear to be filmed with a handheld GoPro. Also, I don't see any reason why HW would be "sworn not to reveal its their park." It's the equivalent to product placement (if it was captured properly, of course).
  20. ^ yeah I did too. Planning on filling it out when I get some time to breathe. Basically taking all my thoughts from here and putting them into survey form
  21. I'm surprised to not see Outlaw Run at number 1 or 2 Outlaw Run at 8th.
  22. (double post) The Voyage came in at 4th on the wooden coaster list behind (1) Boulder Dash (2) El Toro and (3) Phoenix. Continue carrying on.
