  1. I went last summer and thought it wasn't nearly as bad as people say. I actually enjoyed my visit. Yes, employees are rude, bathrooms are disgusting, and operations are abysmal but other than that, it's a nice little park. Hades is my #1 coaster and I'd say it's worth the trip alone. Cyclops is great too. You can find tickets for really cheap sometimes, I got mine for literally $3 off of the Mount Olympus website. You should visit
  2. EFX 360 is gone. They have some type of magic show in the theater this year
  3. Survey markers have been spotted at Pictorium's old site! https://m.facebook.com/groups/1634575566659899?view=permalink&id=1724561994327922&ref=m_notif&notif_t=group_activity Credit to Joey Munding
  4. Ha, I heard from a friend that it was indeed dead (Goliath station wait and Superman sending empty rows) so I drove down. Literally right as I got there the bad weather started kicking in. I was about to get on Hangover when it closed for weather and never reopened. I stayed around until the park was closed early at 5:30 but didn't get a single ride in. So close! Glad to hear you had a good time
  5. Awesome report! Hades is my favorite coaster, and I don't know why people hate it so much. Glad you guys liked it!
  6. Doesn't seem as major but apparently another fight broke out today According to someone in the comments, it caused Mardi Gras Hangover to be e-stopped and the queue to be evacuated https://www.facebook.com/groups/1634575566659899/permalink/1700697410047714/ [fbvideonew] [/fbvideonew]
  7. A huge fight broke out at CAD last night, causing the event to shut down 45 minutes early. https://www.nbcchicago.com/news/local/police-break-up-large-disturbance-at-six-flags-485748001.html 2 videos: [fbvideonew] [/fbvideonew][fbvideonew]https://www.facebook.com/1294890587227426/videos/1689925911057223/[/fbvideonew]
  8. I've never gone to CAD myself but I've heard it is always very crowded. Also, the only ride currently closed is Logger's Run, which hasn't opened up yet this year so it likely won't be up Friday. http://sfgamworld.com/rides/ridestatus.php Make sure to check out The Lobster if you like classic familly flats Have fun!
  9. VR is back https://www.sixflags.com/greatamerica/attractions/dc-super-heroes-drop-doom-vr
  10. There's actually some pretty good places to get food in the park w/ the dining plan (Full list for reference) My top picks would be Big Lou's (Italian beef sandwiches and Italian sausage) Located in Orleans Place JB's Barbecue and Sports Bar ( Pulled pork sandwiches, and grilled chicken salad) Located in Southwest TerritoryStrutter's (Probably the best chicken you'll find in a Six Flags park) Located in Hometown Square Johnny Rockets (Burgers) Located in Mardi Gras and County Fair Chop Six (Surprisingly decent Panda Express knockoff) Located in County Fair For snacks, I'd recommend the frozen lemonade from Sticky Fingers (Located across from Goliath's entrance) As for loose articles, just keep 'em in zippered pockets and the park doesn't care. No locker policy like Great Adventure
  11. According to someone on Reddit, it recently opened
  12. I was able to ride Mardi Gras Hangover two times today and I really enjoyed it! Having been on a Larson loop (STL Fireball) before, I knew I was in for a great ride, but damn. I couldn't stop laughing the entire time. It's just that fun. My 2nd ride happened to be in the dark, which made it even more thrilling than the first. The light package looks amazing by the way. I don't really "rank" rides anymore, but I agree with 9Armgeddon4 that this is probably in SFGAm's top 5. Kind of a random observation but Hangover doesn't make the buzzing sound that other Larson loops make. It's actually really quiet
  13. None other than the World's Largest Loop Coaster, Mardi Gras Hangover. Honestly, super fun
