Speaking of England/UK, I eat McDonalds when i am there cuz food is so bland. Ronald is very different looking. I have posted below (Aberdeen,Scotland, UK). New Add-on topic for forum: Tell about your International McDonalds Experience--what was differenet. Did it satisfy your pickyness or did you leave disappointed??? (OK OK, you can talk about differences at any chain as long as its from US....like Starbucks, BK, KFC, etc.) AND Tell why you went there. Was it cuz you are picky and didn't like local food or just wanted to be at American restaurant while you were away from home. Same Food. McChicken anyone? Ronald McDonald in Aberdeen Scotland. He's Different, but the food is still mostly the same. I am glad for that.

Well here at good o' TPR McDonalds is worshiped by the locals as being the best Elissa friendly food! Well at least that is what I picked up from being here at TPR long enough! The key word here is ELISSA FRIENDLY FOOD! So McDonalds being the best Elissa friendly food around is what makes it so GOOD!! So a food being an Elissa friendly food is a big deal around here! Well besides I like McDonalds a lot too!! EFF Elissa Friendly Food. That will save several key strokes... In netherlands I got a croissant instead of a hashbrown for my breakfast value meal. Whats it like in Japan???

Did the weather effect ride quality at all? . Coasters in the snow. Does that prove that the Japanese are more enthusiastic than we are?

Ok.. on the asia trip..did you try anything weird? My friends keep trying to get me to eat sushi but its not cooked. i dont even like my veggies raw

Hey Elissa, Can we start a Picky foods post? I have seen several McDonald's pictures throughout.. I am guess youre not so adventurous with new foods....nor am I. I tought it would be fun for picky eaters to have a say. What do you think? This forum is about your experience with weird foods, foods you dont like. What is the your all around ok food (Like McDonald's) that is always a safe backup? If you are a picky eater, this is your place.

Its been a quite a few years since I rode Tidal Wave. It was closed EVERY time that I went. Anyway, you can get some airtime, but it was better before they "improved" the restraints. Of the similar rides, I think this was one of the better ones.

That looks like the part of the SLC that had been removed already. The piece right after the lift hill.

Keep in mind what I saw was from expressway...so i may have missed details like missing trains, etc. But I was surprised to see all that i saw.

I drove by SFAW yesterday evening to see it all in person. The whole thing is so sad... now I have to drive 3 hours to get to the rock quarry. Anyway.... the update..... Most of the coasters..to my surprise... are still standing...or at least parts of them. From the expressway, it looks like Texas Cyclone, Viper, Greezed Lightening, Ultra Twister, and Batman haven't been touched. About 2/3 of Serial Thriller (SLC) is still standing--lift hill and most of the track. I could not see XLR8. But to confirm, there is no more dungeon drop, no looping starship (Can anyone confirm/unconfirm that Looping Starship is going to SFOT. They are supposed to get a "looping" ride) I live across town, so I have been reading/heard newsreports about rides moving. I was surprised that it was mostly "still together" :shock: I will post pictures in the near future.
