  1. I will not be able to take a regular vacation next summer. ( why I didn't put in for the hotness trip. But I may find time off where I can fly out for a day or two. Will you post the agendas online at all so maybe I could at least "be" at one if the parks while the tour is ongoing. No perks, but would be nice to say hi and stuff (Finding time off from working two jobs is hard. Why I absolutely loved the west coast bash. Worked with my timeline). Thanks for everything
  2. Agreed. I don't go to a six flags park to ride the building. I go for the ride...
  3. That would be cool to see. Anyone have any pictures?
  4. Can someone explain how the fast pass works at Magic Mountain.
  5. ROFL. I knew you guys wouldn't let me down.
  6. I guess they could change every ride at Knotts to a wind name. Any suggestions?
  7. Had a great time at Knotts as usual ran into Nyteowl at Ghostrider (awesome)
  8. In a few hours we will be at Knotts. LAX here we come!
  9. ^^^ that's the one. But completely different layout. Adventuredome had. Hairpin turns after the station. Lift hill. Dive into half loop rollover half loop (like the SLC). Brake run. Then flag pole down ward spiral. Then I think 2 heart line rolls back to the station. I might be missing something but it's been years since I've drooled over the blue prints.
  10. Back in 2000, One of the new coaster designs from Arrow Dynamics was called the Arrow-BATic. This rides proposed first installation was at the adventuredome in Las Vegas. This ride was an inverted wild mouse able to preform numerous inversions. Blueprints were drawn up and this would have been built utilizing the upper deck area outside of the rear of the dome (with the ride footprint over the rear parking lot. Some of the elements included the same rollover like the first inversions of the SLC. An inverted flag pole (kinda like a chance tobaggen ) and several heart line rolls. Circus circus was Affraid of making that kind of capital investment and tried to get arrow to foot part of the bill. For a percentage of profits. This didn't fly and the plans were scrapped. (Instead the park put in the chaos ride). My wife used to be the admin for the head ride engineer and knowing my love for coasters, he gave me all of the blueprints for the ride. They are currently somewhere in a box in my garage...
  11. Awesome... Thanks for all of the photo's!!! Taking my daughter back to Knott's in 2 days... can't wait to check everything out!!!!
  12. I believe this is a custom model. Not a clone
  13. When I was young. Rough rides didn't bother me either Now it just kills my back. I think ghost rider is an awesome ride. I just can't do it anymore...
  14. LoL. We had so much fun, we were thinking about it the next day. Even ran out and got season passes. Made the trip from Vegas back to Knotts 3 times already and going again next weekend
  15. Is there going to be a west coast bash again in 2014?
  16. I'm happy as long as they try to continually improve the park. (Of course a new coaster is always prefered, but anything is ok by me. )
  17. You get the same view from the sky cabin. ROFL. I was thinking it. Just didn't say it (high-five)
  18. Maybe we should get a TPR meetup going for opening day. Get some rides in and grab a bite to eat for the Vegas locals!!!
  19. Before the quake that ride used fly around the track
  20. I think after all of the brakes were added. I was so disappointed by the complete loss of airtime. Really wished they could have had another company tear it down and remanufacture the ride because the layout was a lot of fun
  21. Well. Weather in Buena Park is calling for rain this Saturday. So just rebooked our trip back to Knotts for next weekend (14th). Daughter wasn't happy tho
