I'm at SFOT now and have ridden Giant twice. I think the new loading procudure is VERY efficient. The line moved very quickly, and there is even a pouch on the ride to place loose articles. As far as picking seats the operator controlling the line was allowing people, but stated they would have to wait for the next train or so.

What do you guys think.....I'm excited for Skyscreamer and I think it will be a great addition to the park. However I would love to see a new coaster come soon. Do you guys think the park may add a coaster in 2014 where the closed mini mall is and Flashbacks old spot, or market new shows for 2014 since they are spending a bunch for Skyscreamer in 2013?

Sounds like a lot of folks hate Boomerangs lol. Listen I rode Flashback several times at OT and while I can say it was not the best ride there, it was still a lot of fun. I have read that a lot of people are describing it as a very painful ride. I dont know if its just me, but the ride never hurt me. I mean it was a little jerky, but that was expected. I can understand though how SFStL fans could be a little upset with the addition of Boomerang, but it is another coaster that adds to the coaster count. I personally love the way the CEO (James Anderson) is managing the parks. I mean EVERY park EVERY year will get something new. This has not happened in the past. I feel confident in SF overall future, and cant wait to see how all the parks evolve over the next few years.

For those wondering about the Christmas lights the park added to Texas Chute for Holiday In The Park every year, they will be adding the lights to both sides of the Oil Derrick Tower. I noticed the lights on both sides of the tower today as I was walking around the outside of the park. I think those lights will look very cool on both sides of the tower leading up to the stars the park places at the top of the tower each year for Holiday In The Park.

For those wondering if there was an extra train of Flashback sitting in the boneyard the answer is yes. Today I spent alot of time walking around SFOT and I saw a lot of things. Flashback (Bommerang) was in the parking lot receiving a green paint job. I then ventured in a wooded area by Titan and the boneyard and noticed 2 of Flashbacks trains sitting there. One was the one the park has been using with the Never Stop Screamer advertisement over the train, and another was a black train with the red restraints that looked like an older train. After reading reports on screamscape stating Boomerang may not be receiving new trains that could be true seeing that SFOT has 2 of the Flashback trains in the boneyard.

I'm super excited for Iron Rattler! This ride looks sick! And I think it looks much better then Outlaw Run. Ive seen the animation videos for both rides and they both look awesome but to me Iron Rattler looks way better and longer too. My home town park is SFOT and RMC did an amazing job of the reconstruction of New Texas Giant. Iron Rattler looks like it could be better, especially with the the inversion being added. Really cant wait to ride it for the first time next Spring!

I have mixed reactions when it comes to SFMM. I have never been to the park, but after researching and reading several reviews this is what I have come up with. The park defiantly has a lot of trill rides. For thrillseekers this could be one of the best parks to attend. However MM seems to me to be lagging behind in other categories. For example, the park has many thrill rides but seems to be missing the family attractions, shows, and small rides for the young ones. Now I now they have a section for children, but it just doesn't seem to be enough. My home town park is Six Flags Over Texas and this park really seems to be the best when it comes to variety of rides and attractions. SFOT has the thrill rides, family rides, and shows. I really do believe that MM is missing out on these other family attractions. With Full Throttle opening, and droop of doom last year it just seems like MM caters to the thrillseekers. And there is nothing wrong with that if you are a thrillseeker. But for those who want the trills, and other family attractions, shows and so on, it just seems like MM is not the place for that. I mean MM even took out their family log flume ride to build Full Throttle. Listen this is just my personal opinion on MM as we are all entitled to. I'm sure MM is a good park and hopefully one day I will make the trip to Valencia to check it out.

I was at the park Friday night and La Vibora and Shockwave were not done. The track piece facing the parking lot of La Vibora looks done, but track pieces towards the end of the ride still needed paint. Shockwave's track looked to be fully painted but the support didn't look quit done yet. As far as Texas Sky Screamer goes look for the park to start construction on the foundation very soon.

Agreed. Adventure Theater does need a good makeover and hopefully that's what the park has decided to do. Back in it's early days during Dino-Island it was amazing. Spongebob was also pretty good. However Fly Me To The Moon was not very good in my opinion. So I do hope to see it reopen soon with a good show this time.
