  1. Yeah this is pretty pathetic that it took them this long to open this thing. And the station and scenery looks like that... Thats pretty funny though that a fair has assembled and disassembled the ride multiple times in the time it took SFA to open it. Really sad.
  2. Goliath used to be good, and now is is just awful. Literally the worst coaster I have ever been on. Mind Eraser is MUCH better than Goliath. Goliath is by far the worst roller coaster I have been on. It is even worse than Wildcat a few years ago.
  3. I believe a transformation for Bizarro is in the works. Either 2015 or 2016 is my guess. Also all that has been said about Goliath is true. The new trains are awful and I seriously can't think of a ride that I have been on that was rougher. The only enjoyable parts are the spikes, the rest is torture. I would rather ride Mind Eraser, Flashback, and Wildcat without track work than Goliath. It has gone from my second favorite ride there to absolutely atrocious.
  4. Where did you hear that? That would be neat. It might need a re-tracking before though it is getting a little rough but still very ride able and smooth.
  5. The closing date is also National Roller Coaster day, I doubt that is a coincidence. Maybe they are planning something cool for its last day.
  6. Great news! Should be a ton of new RMC rides this year.
  7. Cyclone. There are orange markers around the ride, markings on supports that say cut here, and other markings on a bunch of supports.
  8. So who is ready for the first RMC on the east coast?
  9. Totally looking forward to NL2, I downloaded the demo and there is a ton of lag. I have a laptop that is less than a few months old with an i5 processor and 8gb of ram on windows 8. I think it should be fine, not sure why it is laggy. If anyone has any suggestions let me know, I really want to get the full version but I need to get the demo to run haha.
  10. Here is another picture. Looks like the lift is one of the last parts standing. I think El Toro's ejector hill and finale is going to look really good now, hopefully they make it look good.
  11. Well, there are some exceptions I guess. Like SOB, that was great watching it crumble to the ground
  12. Looks like the lift is the only thing left I know it wasn't a great ride but seeing any ride getting demolished is sad. Now it really is rotting lumber
  13. I think it might be both. The last two weeks the ride ops had to wait a certain amount of time before dispatching the train, which is clearly giving the motor some time to cool down. It may also be a computer problem because I saw it stop on the lift randomly three different times and start going again about a minute later. It is definitly a motor problem though, it has been going much slower. Also they were running one train when the line was to the dippin dots stand and obviously they would have had two on if the motor was fine. also this is right from their FB page--we replaced the drive back in September and it has been giving us problems ever since. The only time I saw two train op in October was on the third Saturday. This was also the day of Boolder-dash Bash. The park also seemed to be the most crowded it has ever been in Ocotober with the line for the Graveyard past Waveswinger . They should really make an overflow line through kiddieland or something.
  14. Wildcat should have been running two trains also. It actually wasn't even supposed to be open in October but opened when BD was down most of the weekend 3 weeks ago. Both trains should have been running but they are probably trying to keep the new track in good shape until they get new trains. The red train was also off the tracks last week.
  15. The ride has been having a problem with the lift hill motor for a while now. They were running one train for most of October and it sometimes goes very slow up the lift. The last few weeks they also had to wait a certain amount of time before a dispatch. I am sure they wanted to run two trains but if they did the ride would definitely break down. The ride stopped multiple times on the lift even with one train. Hopefully next year will bring a new motor
  16. Wildcat is much smoother on the parts that got re-done. After the 2nd drop it is just as rough as before. It is nice having a smooth start though. My favorite seat on BD is the front or any of the 6 cars in the front. Don't sit in the back of any car besides the last row, those rows tend to be a little rough.
