  1. Same reason they didn't buy new trains when they moved Iron Wolf to Six Flags America... Maybe they next year new trains will comes as SFNE did with Goliath. Maybe they The park is seeing how Goliath trains work out first.
  2. ^ I dont see SFOT letting Skyscreamer fade to badly. SFOT takes care of the park better than Magic Mountain. I say by the 6th year into operation it will probably get a new paint job.
  3. You know every time someone comes over too visit, they see it and say no way. That its too extreme because of the chair and chains. Ive even had a friend say there no way she will ride it because they built it too fast it should take a year to build like the NTAG. Im gonna get on, but i will be sweating, until I get comfortable.
  4. My apt is less than a mile away from the park so I've been able to see he testing of skyscreamer, its the most unusual testing I have seen. There has not been any rotation just levitation and stopping in various spots and remaining there for hours at a tome.
  5. That's probably what they meant since loop means up side down to the GP.
  6. I think RMC could pull it off, since their track system is different from SOB plus engineering has improved a lot this past 13 years.
  7. ^ Not sure if the surveys actually mean anything. Or if they actually take in consideration the answers. They did ask what a theme for the wooden with a loop. As well as suggestion for future expansions. Of coarse I typed in a very lenthy essay on what direction I felt the park should go.
  8. ^ the survey are sent to your email, this was the second one I revived, they sent one last week as well but i didn't fill it out.
  9. I cant see them installing a wooden coaster let along one with a loop. I though its was a bit odd that the survey listed a wooden coaster and had, with a loop in in quotations. Where would they put one since wooden coasters do take up a lot of space unless they are planning on removing Judge Roy Scream, which I dout that would happen but the ride is rough and pretty much always a walk on.
  10. ^ no but the survey did ask about the next attraction and asked a lot about an iron man theme and a wooden coaster with a loop.
  11. Not sure if this has already been reported but Sky Screamers has started testing. The swings have been hanging not rotating about 300 ft up the tower.
  12. Skyscreamer is huge, went to see it yesterday. I could hear the GP yesterday saying they are not going to ride it because of the chains.
  13. Cant wait to read the reviews for Boomerang.
  14. Floater is not airtime. Floater is like having a non-alcoholic beer. It tastes like beer, sort of, but its not the real thing. SUF= Coors N/A NTAG = Samuel Adams Utopias
  15. this coaster looks much better as Boomerang than Flashback. Yea, orange and green is kinda of a wacky color scheme but it really brings life to this coaster, it looks like they Six Flags did the best they could into making Boomerang appealing except for a new train. Maybe they will do get new trains for it later on as New England did for Goliath. Im probably gonna get slammed for saying this but they could get B&M to make a train for it since they did Steel Dragon 2000 I'm sure a lot of you guys think it would be absurd for a B&M train to be placed on a Boomerang. Just a thought
  16. Sky screamer has finnaly gone vertical the Blue and yellow portion has risen. I will try to get pics if its not dark when I get off work.
  17. The backwards launch on Mr Freeze reverse blast is by far more intense than its former forward facing one, however I feel that Yolo's backwards launch is going to be weak considering it only sends you halfway into the half loop. (I wonder how tall the half loop is). The backward launch would have been much better if it sent the train all the way through the half loop dive back, through the twist turn and half way up the giant loop instead. Then fall forward and blast through the tunnel.
  18. Boomerang actually looks good in that spot, Better than it did at SFoT, however those trains are an issue. Why on earth they would bring those trains with the level of damage, age, and amount of money its gonna cost to fix them.
  19. we are not aloud to say anything
  20. Just got te call to be apart of it.
  21. So whoever said that Gatekeeper would be completed before Yolo starts verticle construction was right. Way to go CP
  22. I don't see why they are openning this ride in June. Considering all the footer are completed. The track work at supports for this should take no longer than 6 days to complete. And the old train are in terrible condition, I guess they feel its to much to have premier make some trains as they did goliath last year.
