  1. I understand your thoughts... To sum it up, we're talking about Six Flags... If I remember correctly, not a single roller coaster built in the chain last year opened on time...
  2. Ok, WC is going slow as well, the weather is a factor, but as many know, what looks good on paper, sometimes needs to be adjusted when actually building something of this nature. We all know that Six Flags Magic Mountain has not been doing a very good job and has to use up keeping colossus' structure so it's not a surprise that they may be running into a few issues with structural integrity
  3. Also remember that Leviathan is a people eater, in its opening season, matter the morning rush, mother wait was never more than 15 minutes! It's crazy to see, and kind of entertaining when you can't lean on the fences in the queue because your moving too fast...
  4. Remember those are brand new, they have to look at the existing structure, make sure it's structurally sound, then tie in to the existing structure and build the odd shaped ties they need to put in the track pieces! It's a slow process, but it makes sense do to the type of project it is.
  5. Honestly, the coaster renderings are terrible. How am I supposed to believe that that is what the pavilions are going to look like, the first turn on the island of millennium force is floating in the air...
  6. I think it would be a while before a Floorless showed up... They just put in a Multi Looper, I feel like they would go for a Wooden Coaster, or something like that. Dear RMC, DO NOT TOUCH Beast.
  7. Ill have to see it in person, but sometimes I like the "packed house" kind of look in certain sections. I do agree putting it across from the entrance to the water park was poor, but in reality its an Up Charge attraction and won't gather that much of a line or crowd other than the moment of dispatch...
  8. I agree... I think that a smart mentality of the fact that perimeters technology on Batman and Robin was still very new, and understanding how far they have come would calm the nerves of the higher ups... I would LOVE to see what they could do with either plot of land (Chiller or Rolling Thunder)
  9. that might just be the plates that they will put concrete onto, but still its quite exciting to see it closer to completion, that means we can start testing soon!
  10. Can we at least open for the season before we start our speculation on 2016... Our new roller coaster for this year isn't even built yet
  11. I'm sure they will... I could see it either on the launch, or after the vertical loop...
  12. i talking long term... so many rides in the chain look great the first year, and quickly fall to the way side!
  13. Geez, this thing is going to be beautiful!
  14. Golden Kingdom looks good mainly because Six Flags worked with what they do best, nothing. The planted a crap ton of plants, and then let them over grow, so you truly get this forested african feel from the tall grasses and such. Its basically the same idea as them theming Batman: The Ride to look like a seedy back alley... the more crap people toss around, the more graffiti people carve into the walls, the more authentic it appears... Six flags finally said "Hey, if we can't make something continue to look clean and manicured, lets make it look overgrown, which is what we are going to end up doing anyway"
  15. Doesn't Alpengeist have something like it, but with feet?
  16. ^^ your probably right... I thought it was odd the track had no flag or anything on it... Oh well, in my in my mind it's finished! Now let's watch the entrance take shape! that long video a few pages back said they did a bunch of changes since that video was created!
  17. Bolting it in place now! Jan 28, construction complete! Can we ride it now
  18. Sad thing is, all the webcam coasters are done as of today... What am I going to watch now!!!
  19. I really don't see them putting a dark ride there... I feel like it would block great views of the lake. I feel like them putting it back by Mean Streak would make more sense. It would be a quiet ride that would not hinder the hotel spaces they have on the end of the peninsula.
  20. ^ I knew I was forgetting one! It really would be a great addition, and is quite the people eater! (900pph)
  21. It's annoying too, the park could totally handle putting in a giant frisbee near the Ferris wheel and the GP would eat it up. It's sad we only have two in the U.S. and there both in Ohio...
  22. I'm hoping for extreme like Goliath at SFMM!!!!
  23. I don't know guys, looks like only 4 or 5 pieces left... They could finish tomorrow night if they start early tomorrow morning!!
  24. Even if they do build a roller coaster there, I think keeping trees is totally possible! Especially near the cobra role of raptor.
