  1. I agree. I stopped riding PP because the lines were too long. I don't how many people in could load an hour, But I'm guessing it's was like 3.
  2. Everyone is right. With Knott's and their over flow of Disneyland guests. More family rides does make sense. I did notice that in Knott's Scary farm. They had mazes and a ton of room just past ghost rider. They can fit a Giga coaster in there if they do like Ghost rider and build over the walk way to the stores and build into the hotels parking lot. If anyone else can think of any other place to fit a giga coaster please post about it.
  3. ^ Magic Mountain did a bad job of advertising them. I never knew anything about where they played or them even playing there. But I was talking about major acts. Six Flags had a concert series that played most of there parks this summer. It didn't play Magic Mountain because of the problem Magic mountain had with their riot in the past.
  4. Agreed. I can't see them getting any big name acts yet. It may still be a couple of years away.
  5. Yea for a giga coaster they can call it anything they like and even paint it purple and pink...I wouldn't care as long as we get one.
  6. If we keep posting about roller coaster 1. Screamscape is likely to post that roller coaster 1 is the rumored name of Knott's next giga roller coaster.
  7. Magic mountain the only thread where closing food stands take top billing.
  8. Where did you hear this? On a tweet? He hasn't posted anything about this at his web site.
  9. Magic Mountain is not known for their top of the line flat rides. I'm hoping for a starflyer someday. The old deja vu spot looks like a good enough place..Unless for some strange reason they don't think they have enough roller coasters.
  10. They appear to be clearing a space where they where going to put road runner before they decided to put road runner in the kids area. Slingshot is not even a permanent ride. They bought a mobile version of the ride. They never announced other rides for the new area. Just Full Throttle and a new theme area with a light show.
  11. It's good both in the day and at night. I like to look down so the lights at night are nice.
  12. I agree. I enjoy those rides in the dark and at night because they go through the hillside terrain. Scream and Tatsu are good rides as the sun is setting. Superman and Lex Luther are great at night.
  13. ^ I plan on going this Friday. Because their main audience is in school..I'm guessing it shouldn't be too bad. I'll maze it at night. Does anyone know what shows are good?
  14. Those seem to be maximum time if the line was all the way full. They do not look accurate as they are all rounded to the max... 120 min,90 min. Someone just entered the top wait time numbers and never checked.
  15. These are not park employee.. They are temporary help. The new manager of Knott's has be very big on improving park employees. Knott's has been advertising for Haunt employment for weeks before the haunt and even weeks into it's start.
  16. Are you saying you won't be able to go down the path in front of Mooseburger during construction? That's my understanding. Not sure if the path behind Mooseburger will be open. I'm going to guess ride parts are going to be stored where Flashback was or where they stored the LL:DOD pieces, meaning that entire area will be closed to allow for pieces to move to the site easier. But until it actually happens, who knows. My thoughts have been for the construction on the west side of the hill and the top of the Superman path. I hadn't thought about the front east side of the hill where they removed The log ride. So you bring up a good point. My understand is they are also building a new entertainment area for the front of the park. So what paths will be close is unknown. I did see a unused, blocked off area between the front but before the kids zone. It's not a path yet, but it looks like they could make it into a path to get around the construction area or use it to store pieces.. It already has a excuse our mess sign up.
  17. I've seen painted markers on the ground on the west side hill off the path that leads to ninja. So that path may be closed at some point. People can still travel the path near river rapids to go up the hill from the west side of the park. But In a statement that Robb posted from the park. They said no rides will be closed. If they are true to that. Then the markers for the poles up on the hill to Superman may be put in with as little down time as possible.
  18. ^ I don't think capacity is their top priority. They are close to Disneyland and they are only able to operate full season because of the Disneyland over flow. We love gigs coasters and the like, but that may not be the best for their needs.
  19. ^ Thursday should be a better day to go. I don't know what evil dead was as I got out of a line that wasn't moving. I think it was just the log ride with theming. Ask for a map of the mazes. Either go left to the ghost rider and go in those 4 mazes or go right to camp snoopy and go in the mazes on that side. I'd go to all the mazes as the line moves fast. There is one show...The witching hour at midnight. If your walking by look at it. It's only 7 or 8 minutes long...Don't bother waiting in front of the stage for it. You'll wait longer for the show then the show is worth.
  20. ^ Good report. I don't know what to make of witching hour. I was hoping for a good show and all we got was 7 to 8 minutes. The wait for the show was longer. Great mazes.
  21. I was at the park Friday. Form the skycab and boomerang I was able to see some constructions. They didn't seem to be doing anything to the old pool area. But they were not removing the loading building or the pump house. I asked employees want were they building. One said a great big roller coaster, he was very excited. One said a roller coaster like boomerang and excellator. One said a small family type roller coaster...He seemed informative with the way he broke the news. 8 or 9 said three small rides. 3 of those said the scrambler and one added a gravitron also. One said the pool was going to stay. What do I take from all this? Not much. I'm going with the most informative quote form a very smart employee. "It hasn't been announced yet." This are just rumors...They are not facts.
