I have to agree with you on missing these 1st gens / wishing they would modernize and redevelop them. I grew up riding the drop of doom at West Edmonton Mall. The experience was really cool having it indoors and going up into an enclosed tower with glass surrounding the top. It was sadly replaced with an S & S tower a few years ago and moved to Spain. I believe. The S & S towers just aren't the same.

Can't wait to head down and check this out... Those rotating seats look terrifying! I'd bet if this is successful, we will definitely see some of these new seat types implemented onto existing Intamin installations.

That's terrible to see... especially after the hurricane damage! Hopefully noone gets injured and the park doesn't take too much fire damage...

"Regina" at Tobu Zoo.... I just don't follow. LOL. I also thought Kingda Ka was pretty lame considering... could have had a way more badass name.

Loving the elements on this bad boy. That inverted drop looks like it's going to be amazing!! I've only seen that on some Togos and Ultra Twister @ Rusutsu so this should be incredibly smooth awesomeness, comparatively.

That would be open about as much as Windseeker... Did it have a lot of downtime? I was probably 11 or 12 when it closed so I don't remember too much about it. Another flat ride that I actually kind of like--too bad they're so tough to maintain. LOVE those Zierer Hexentanz rides! Grew up riding and awesome indoor one at West Edmonton Mall that interacted with the Mindbender. Sad they are so hard to find now

Amazing! While short, this has got to be one of the best Wing Rider layouts I have seen. Loving that crazy Dive-loop looking element. Very Twisty!!
