Oh man! I've thought about this for years! I've tried to explain my idea to my mom, and she always just tells me I'm crazy. I didn't think many other people had ever though about it.

^ That's kind of the idea I'm going with right now too. Everyone knows SF has made mistakes, but recently they seem to have learned a thing or two from those mistakes, and have taken good measures to avoid them happening again. Jay and Tim are not idiots, they know what they're doing. I believe it'll be just fine. Innocent until proven guilty, imo.

^ Yeah, hopefully the conversation moves to something more constructive So who here DOES think that the theming will work? As I said, I personally am going to wait to see it before I judge it, but I think it may work fine. We'll see. At least this gives me a reason to stop lurking the boards and actually start posting again It's been a while.

Stop disagreeing with me! Okay, in all seriousness, I do agree with Ryan that way too many people are WAY too quick to judge. It hasn't even been built. I'm withholding judgment until I actually see it built and have a chance to ride it. With that said, I'm looking forward to it. I enjoy GCI's and I'm really happy SFMM is getting a new woodie, we're long overdue. And I have NO problem with it not being a "West coast El Toro". That's not what MM needs right now, this looks to be a solid addition that everyone can enjoy. Step in the right direction IMHO.

^ Yeah I heard about that. I'm getting sick of guests' blatant disregard of rules and just plain common sense. It almost always seems to end up with something like this happening. Then when the news story gets published, people see the headline and immediately adopt an "OH NO, THEME PARKS ARE DANGEROUS" stance on the matter without usually even reading into what happened. I'm sorry, but I cannot bring myself to feel bad for someone who is harmed because of their own stupidity and lack of respect for rules put in place to protect them from exactly this kind of thing.

^ I couldn't agree more. Everything about my visit tonight would have been great. It's just that certain guests ruined it. There seemed to be more inconsiderate people there tonight than usual. There was one particular person I noticed who decided he was going to push every trash can he passed really hard. Not only is it annoying and loud, but he knocked one into a lady walking on the other side of the trash can, and he knocked a trash can all the way over when he was at the park exit. This kind of behavior is ridiculous and uncalled for. Unfortunately security wasn't around when he did this. If they were I didn't notice. He's not the real reason my visit was bad though. Just using him as an example of the kind of guests that Magic Mountain should really try to eliminate, or at least reduce.
