  1. Wow, it looks great. Going up extremely fast! Seriously though, I can't wait. It's shaping up nicely.
  2. ^I'd go if I could, I still need to get my pass. Unfortunately, I'm tied up for the weekend. I really need to go soon.
  3. ^The sign is left over from Goliath Jr. I guess they just put it there and haven't bothered to move it. On a side note, the Mr. Six actor at SFMM looks a bit like Ron Paul.
  4. ^Agreed 100% The park has improved significantly. They still have a ways to go, but they are definitely going in the right direction. It's not like they can snap their fingers and have everything perfect overnight. It takes time, and quite a bit of it. It's extremely unfair for anyone to say that the park hasn't improved. Dealing with the employee issue will be one of the biggest obstacles to SFMM's improvement IMO, and I certainly don't expect it to happen overnight. The park is slowly but surely improving in just about every aspect, and I'm extremely happy with everything they've done so far.
  5. YES! I nearly pissed my pants with excitement when I went to the Six Flags site today and saw Mr. Six smiling at me! It's about damn time! He's the best.
  6. I was up at SFDK last summer, it was still running quite well. GCI's seem to hold up extraordinarily well for the most part. I'm sure there's an exception somewhere, but I guarantee it's still better than Psyclone was
  7. The Millennium Flyer trains are by no means ugly. They're designed to have a classic look that resembles the trains from wooden coasters of the early 1900's. They are by far some of the most nostalgic woodie trains available today.
  8. It's already shaping up to be bigger than I expected. Thanks for the update Robb. Great stuff as always!
  9. It's beautiful there, I'd LOVE to visit and take lots of pictures.
  10. Ha, you know Robb, it probably IS the most exciting thing to happen in Bakersfield.
  11. Haha, I took one and sent it to Dan. I haven't emailed Dan in ages. Thanks for the update Robb, I'm loving it so far. It's definitely going to be a sexy coaster. I agree with Guy, wooden coasters are an art form, and GCI is the undisputed master of the art.
  12. Thanks Robb, great update! I'm so excited now that it's gone vertical. Can't wait to go see it for myself. I miss Mr. Six
  13. ^Agreed, the night ERT at last year's WCB was by far the best part of the entire event. I was EXTREMELY impressed with them last year. This has become THE SoCal coaster event IMO.
  14. Sweet, WCB has gotten better and better every year. I can't wait, I've been looking forward to it for a year. Definitely my favorite event of the year. Can't wait to see everyone there again!
  15. Can't wait to see more. Also, I'm really glad to see Deja Vu getting new paint, should brighten the area a bit. Too bad they aren't giving it a more Terminator-ish color scheme though.
  16. ^ Exactly. And as for the fading paint, maybe we'll see that building repainted in the coming months. They finally fixed the sign a while back, so I don't think they're entirely ignoring that area.
  17. MM did used to have a ride like that. They had the Crazy Barrels, located somewhere around where Johnny Rockets is now I believe. The platform is still there.
