Thanks for the heads up! At least now I won't be dissapointed when FF rolls around. Glad I know ahead of time. On a side note, I just got back from an evening at the mountain. I didn't have a very good time, but that's a long story. I'm quite happy to say however that it was in no way the fault of the park or staff. From what I saw tonight, they were doing quite well. My issue was with certain guests

^^ Well they usually turn Log Jammer into Blood Falls. It's pretty fun I guess. They have scare actors working along the length of the ride that try to pop up and scare you. The only other thing I can remember them doing to rides during FF is turning the lights off for certain coasters (i.e. Goliath, Riddler, Batman, etc.) and claiming to let you ride them "In the dark" which I always thought was kinda funny because there's enough ambient light from other areas that it doesn't make THAT big of a difference. Only thing I ever really notice while riding "in the dark" is that the lift hill lights are off.

Wow, and Jahan didn't want this thread getting off topic HAHA Although, I will admit, this is more important news than what's happening in the park at the moment. LMAO And of course we would never joke here! What kind of people do you think we are? EDIT: Didn't even notice Mike got some front page attention with that one...haha

Hell yeah, I saw it twice already too, I'm most likely going to see it again because my mom and sister still want to see it. I would be all for a WALL-E ride. Just as long as it's at DCA. I'm tired of Florida getting all the awesome attractions

I play on heavy, challenge if available. Some of my favorites: Tsugaru Butterfly (Speedy Mix) Max 300 basically any Paranoia song Upside Down Un De Troix or whatever it's called Many others, I can't think of any more names off the top of my head right now.

I would seriously doubt that. That was the work of the old SFMM management. The new management has put great emphasis on the aesthetics of the park, which they showed once again by putting the time and effort into getting the falls working again. Whereas the old management in all likelihood would have simply let it sit for at least another year or two.

I agree that the Tatsu campout was amazing, and this will probably not match it. However I really want to go, and I'll give SFMM the benefit of the doubt here. $50 is a little steep, but as previously mentioned, it will keep the crowd small. I'm not 100% sure if I can go yet, but I'm going to make every effort to make it.

Okay, so I'll start by off by saying that I am probably taking this personally, considering I am one of the Stage Managers of the Batman Begins Stunt Show. Me speaking as an employee: SO... Before calling this "Lame", why don't you take a minute and think about why we are not updating the show this year: The show always opens as close to Memorial Day weekend as possible. The first year of Batman Begins, the show opened on June 24th. That was about a month of the show that was lost because they held the opening day until after the movie premier. So, the show only ran for 4.25 months. Me speaking as a TPR member: Dark Knight the movie opens July 18th. So IF the new show was to be Dark Knight, (which nothing has been announced as to what the new show will be), it would only run for 3.5 months. THAT SOUNDS LIKE A GREAT IDEA, THEY SHOULD HAVE A SHORTER SHOW RUN! And it costs a TON of money to install a new set. The last Batman show played for 9 years, and the one before that was 12 years. They are crazy enough for using this show for only 4 years. I think you can wait another year. Enjoy the new movie, and then next season you can see the show. I agree, it's not exactly cheap to go in and change the entire set. So don't go and complain about it, I could think of many other things to put that money towards. I hate it when people complain after all the effort management has put into improving the park recently. It comes off as being extremely rude and ungrateful. Just be glad they're even considering a new show, instead of letting it be for 9-12 years.

I'm in the cyber cafe right now, I really love it. We're getting ready to leave soon. Pretty good day I guess. No wait times on much of anything, and speedy dispatches on everything except for Deja Vu this morning. Although I haven't seen X2 test all day. I was hoping to see it again, as I haven't had a chance to see it run since WCB. Checked out the Sky Tower museum again, I really like it, I hope they continue to add more. Once again, I'm extremely impressed with the new management of six flags, even my friends who were with me noticed the difference in the cleanliness of the park and the friendliness of the staff. It seems that most of the GP has started to really realize the small differences and improvements in the park. I noticed all around better behavior from the other guests as well. I'm really pleased with the park.

^^That's what I was kinda thinking too. It's confusing though. I guess we'll find out sooner or later. -
Yep, Hell of an event you guys put on this year, HUGE thanks to you guys, and of course all the good people at Magic Mountain. This was by far the best coaster event ever. Unfortunately I had to leave before the nighttime ERT even started, that really sucked, but oh well, I got to see the Sky Tower Museum, which was awesome! Can't wait till the next event.
