  1. Final part of the trip report. They're out to find Shredder and stop Michael Bay! Beautiful fish. Porcupines on display. Justin Beaver doing his time. HOLY CARP FROGS Can't get enough frogs Whatever they put in this display, it will clearly be better than anything SFMM will add. Look at how tiny and puny these tanks are for the Orcas! I mean, the whales are so disgusted by how they're treated, they won't even bother to interact with the people! He's clearly troubled and needs to be released! He's going to snap and try to break the glass! The only good blackfish. SeaWorld takes care of their animals far more than SFMM does with their coasters. Hey! I've got an idea! Let's boycott SFMM and make a documentary against them! We'll call it Blackcoaster! It'll expose how Six Flags mistreats their coasters and abuses them! To fill the void that Atlantis left, we got another two rides in on Manta. I seriously love this ride. Easily one of my top three coasters in SoCal. Sea lions! What better way to end the trip report of the breathtaking San Diego sunset? Thanks for enduring the report. Please exit to your left, gather all of your personal belongings, and get the heck out. Bye!
  2. I hate to break this to you, but yes, there is a part two of this update. Watching a Walrus spit out and then suck up his food over and over again is always better than riding Green Lantern....especially if you're a guy. FISH! I mean, just look at these tanks. They're bath tubs! It's not like people complain about living in tight apartments or work in small spaces. Alright folks, we stepped into the 90's...now we're stepping back into the 80's! I just love the smell of rotten fish! Got any beer? Shipwreck Cafe >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> x infinity Food Ect. They have an open Sky Tower! Are you paying attention Six Flags? Duck abuse witnessed at SeaWorld Manta >>>>> Full Throttle. Oh what the heck, Manta >>>>>>>> Everything at SFMM. Can I just live on that ride? You tease. At least I got the credit. Explorer's Reef is coming along nicely. If you get a microscope out, you can just barely make out the Giant Dipper Believe or not, these teacups kick Disney's teacups bottoms! To the point to where all the tea spills out! This bad boy can spin! Hey it's my store! Still better theming than YOLO Plaza. Forget Vegas, I'll just throw my money away here! SeaWorld is now accepting EBT. That is, Exclusive Bunny Time. Manta Plaza >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Fail Throttle Plaza Future site for Sea World's new ride. Spinning Huss tilt-tower flying scooters windseeker on a boat. Hey, that's my age! Gotta love the view from a rare Sky Bucket ride. You just don't see these around anymore. This stadium could be the new PeopleMover track. That Manta ERT will do terrible things to your brain. Imagine if they built the JAWS ride out there. Don't leave yet ids, there's still part three coming right up!
  3. As of yesterday, Feb. 8th, I took a long trek from LA to San Diego to go to SeaWorld! I got to meet up with XYZCoaster (Sebastian) and ride Manta a good fourteen times. On the road. Up and at 'em since 6:30 this morning. Unfortunately, Atlantis was down for its annual refurb...so no rides on Atlantis today. Boo. Oh well. Maybe next time. I got the fun card though. Fun fact: If you get to the park at least an hour or an hour and a half before park opening, you get free parking! It's good to save $15. A look at Explorer's Reef At this point, I met up with Sebastian and we marathoned Manta for an hour straight. Us having too much fun yelling "YOLO!" and "Waffle!" at the launch. After our record-breaking twelve rides on Manta in one hour, we saw some smoke rise in the distance? Could that be the flaming anger of the Blackfish producers? Reef Runner >>> Wonder Woman[s Lasso Exit to your rig. Noted. Shark time! Where are the frickin' lazer beams!? Promotional image for SeaWorld's new Gerstlauer spinning coaster: Sharknado: The Ride! Time for Wild Arctic....or also known as the time machine back to the 90's! Also great for making awkward Star Tours references. "I found the rebel spy!" "Light speed to Endor!" "We landed at Hoth!" "It's a trap!" At the Arctic base trying to find where McReady left the snow dog...(You better get that reference or there's someTHING wrong with you.) Dun dun. Dun dun. Dun dun. Dun. Dun. OMG!!! 90's FOOD! NOSTALGIA!!!!!! The one kind thread nobody likes replies on. Also the one kind of meat nobody likes. Stay tuned for part two!
  4. Bit late posting this by over a week, but I got my Bag-O-Crap! It's awesome! I love the park maps I got and the TPR bag! Thanks for the bag Robb!
  5. Indeed it was an amazing morning. If/when I can, I'll post a trip report about it today or tomorrow.
  6. I'm not thrilled with where the park is going and renewing my pass is last on my priorities. However, I do enjoy the coasters they have there. Even though there are going to be flaws I can't help but point out I at least enjoy getting to go on the coasters they have there.
  7. Wallet, cell, iPod, maybe headphones, keys, and if I go to Uni or Knott's...I bring my sipper cup to get my 99 cent refills. If I forget my sipper at a park, man I feel like I lost a lot. I need my Boysenberry punch and Coke! But yeah that's pretty much all I take. And EVERY time I ride on something, I always feel the necessity to pat my pockets to make sure I didn't lose anything. Haha
  8. The closest In N Out that I know of in the area is on the Old Road. Right when you're going up the 5 freeway, you'll see it amidst all of the fast food places (It's aka Hamburger Hill). It's about a ten minute drive from SFMM. There's one by Newhall to if you go straight down Magic Mountain Parkway and turn left on Railroad Ave. It'll then turn into Boquet Canyon drive and be to your left. That one is about a ten minute excursion as well. Those are the closest In N Outs to SFMM. Thank you for the information! I appreciate that! I don't know when I'll be back in Cali, but next time I'm definitely eating at In-N-Out! Do so! In N Out's burgers are better than SFMM's coasters.

  10. Revenge of the Mummy at USH. It seems to be my first coaster every year.
  11. C'mon South Park. You have a gold mine for an episode plot here.
  12. Already visited: -Disneyland -California Adventure -Universal Studios Hollywood Will be visiting: -Knott's Berry Farm -Six Flags Magic Mountain Very likely: -Sea World San Diego -Scandia -Pacific Park Possible: -Islands of Adventure -Universal Studios Florida -Magic Kingdom -Animal Kingdom -EPCOT -Legoland California -Six Flags Over Texas -Belmount Park
  13. Hopefully I might be able to make a short trip out here to see this. I'll need three for IoA, USH, and MK for the seven dwarfs coaster.
  14. Nah. That's too good for SFMM. They'll just run one lane and have the tracks face opposite of each other.
  15. What? SFMM reopening their flagship ride earlier than anticipated?!
  16. ^I was at the park today briefly as well today. Did you notice a mustache guy wearing a blue Transformers shirt by any chance? But yeah, I'm pleased to see DM quickly apporoaching opening and HP building up at a quick rate.
  17. ^I agree with the above. Log Peeler seems to blend well with the High Sierra theme and it is very small in space. I see no point in getting rid of it. I haven't hard any rumblings about possible rides except the following: I've heard that they are going to invest a LOT of money into this and they may build the mountain that was originally planned for Sierra Sidewinder. I still think a small dark ride is mildly possible.
  18. I hope so. What's sad is that SeaWorld shouldn't *have* to save face or present what they do. I feel like it's almost a waste of their time to have to remind people "Hey guys, we do a lot of AWESOME things for animals!" But unfortunately, this is what humanity has come to. I my Facebook, I posted an article you linked regarding the interview with the trainer who had been lied to. Someone I knew posted with a captivating response with "No no no, this article is all wrong. Check your facts." Very well-said in your FB posts. I can't believe how ignorant people can be despite the truth that is presented to them.
  19. Judging by where the walls are, I would say that it's almost certain.
  20. I just got a pass last week so I went through the process. Go to the ticket booth and show them the paper. That's the only way to get your pass processed. After they give you your pass (i.e. the actual card), they'll ask you to go to the photo center on Main Street (Right next to the corn dog stand). They'll take your photo out front and scan it onto your pass. They'll tell you that your photo will be uploaded to your pass within 24 hours. What they do is that when they scan the photo onto your pass, the picture of your face will show up on their screen so that you are identified to make sure you match the pass. When they take it, it'll take less than 24 hours to upload on your pass. Until it uploads, they'll card you while entering the parks. Hope this was helpful. EDIT: Curse you people for being faster posters than I am!
  21. My Knott's Pass just expired and I probably won't be going back until I can renew my pass sometime fairly soon. Can anyone elaborate on where the work specifically is in Camp Snoopy?
  22. I don't believe this rumor of the Sky Tower closing. That structure is WAY too iconic for the park to remove. If the management actually did go through with that just to merely shave costs, then they are a whole new level of stupid.
  23. I'm guessing the Mummy. I'll be headed to USH shortly.
  24. Would they charge that much if they weren't? Although, I don't think Parking should ever go above $10 but that's me. I think parking should be free. Everywhere. Driving is a necessity for some people (elderly, disabled, ect.) and therefore shouldn't be charged for. That's kind of like charging to walk on the sidewalk. Imagine if they put toll booths on the 210. That's how I see parking at SFMM.
