  1. Doesn't look good for RMC... My thoughts go out to the family of the victim.
  2. Two years ago, I visited Orlando maybe mid or late February and all the parks we visited were empty, it was heaven. IOA: I got to Marathon on Hulk 11 times with out getting off. (The ride ops made me cause they said I was going to kill myself) by the end of day I got 31 laps on hulk. I didn't find it rough at all. Got 14 rides on forbidden journey and 12 on dragon challenge 7 on the blue side 5 on the red. ( I prefer the blue side ) And I can't recall how many times we ridden Spiderman. We didn't re-ride a lot at universal because it was close to closing time. But we still hit everything. I got 11 on HRRR. Sea world: 19 on Kraken 27 on manta. I find both amazing (I'm a sucker for some B&M) Busch gardens: 12 on kumba (Was rougher than I though. still fun though) 23 on montu and towards the end of the day I got a horrible headache so I only rode sheiKra 7 times which was sad because I really liked the ride. Sadly Cheetah hunt wasn't open.
  3. ^Are you serious? V2 is one of the most loved rides by the GP, and one of the most popular rides in the park. Doesn't matter how bad the capacity is. I don't think it's going anywhere for a while. Plus the park can use some more Intamin.
  4. Got a chance to see a screening of the new horror movie The Conjuring. If you've been disappointed with the likes of Paranormal Activity and Insidious, this one is likely to deliver in areas where they failed. I was shockingly surprised and glad to say.. It's AMAZING. I went in totally cold, not having seen a trailer, nor knowing anything about the story or plot and it turned out to be one of the best horror movies I have ever seen. The things that make 'The Shining', 'Poltergeist', and 'The Exorcist' good is that if the editor were to chop out all the jump-scares and those sequences that fry an image into your brain, you would still have a moody, edgy story that makes you sympathies for the characters and their struggle. James Wan (the director) Does this PERFECTLY. I particularly liked the way the film took a turn for the comical somewhere in the middle, only for perhaps five minutes, then came back firing on all cylinders as it headed to the finale. If this was intentional, to lure us into a false sense of security, it worked beautifully. All this not to say The Conjuring doesn't have its share of frightening visuals and piss your pants moments. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a great horror film. I will be seeing this movie again when it comes out. Happy to say it's a 10/10
  5. So I will be visiting USO sometime in July. I usually visit Orlando when school is going on or sometime during February, mostly because I know the crowds will be light. But my question is how are crowds in July?
  6. The cabin in the woods at horror nights .. Awesome! Just might be enough to get me down there. Any word on the rumored Evil dead section?
  7. Had a fun day at the park yesterday. It said it was suppose to storm but it never did so the lines were never long. The longest line was viper at the station. Which was running backwards (I thought it was suppose to run backwards in July). Anyway backwards viper.. a whole lot of fun. I find it much better than backwards batman. I rode it in the front (technically the back). I thought I knew the layout by heart but some parts still surprised me. The ride was full of airtime and very intense. I would recommend it to any viper lovers. If you're visiting the park you should try it. I give it an 8 out of 10 Edit: I hate that I didn't get any pictures of it, sorry everyone.
  8. But what shocked me was how nothing was working not even the lift hill lights.
  9. Currently at the park, and Batman is down for like the 10th time today. Also none of the affects are working on the Dark Knight the entire ride was pitch black. I wonder whats going on.
  10. I think it sounds amazing.. For drop tower lovers. Any drop tower scares the hell out of me and tilting 90 degrees doesn't help that fear.. Not at all !!
  11. I would have to agree, no more low capacity rides. Plus I like Orleans place how it is now.
  12. ^ Yep, I went yesterday, it was cold and raining. The parking lot was empty but there were a lot of school groups. The only rides that wasn't a walk on was Superman, Batman, and X-flight only because they were running one train, because of that the lines were moving really slow. But I did marathon on V2, viper(Which was running fantastic ) and American Eagle (also running good)
  13. Anyway I'm too lazy to read all these threads.. Do we know what the worlds first feature is yet..? (Sorry if this has been asked in the past few threads)
  14. ^Lol, they're defiantly a lot of scenes that will stick with you for a while... I can never look at a crowbar the same again
  15. I forgot to post my review here, sorry about that. So I got to the Icon theater and it was packed I wasn't sure I was going to get in, but no worry's I did. Now I was never really a big fan of the original, I just thought it was a pretty good movie. Now hearing about the remake a few weeks ago I didn't know what to think, the trailer was good but most remakes are god awful. Shockingly this is one of the best remakes I've ever seen. ( I'm going to try and keep this review spoiler free if you want to know anything about the movie just PM me) Now the opening scene started with a huge bang and VERY cringe worthy, I was hoping it would stay like that through the entire movie and it sure did. Now after the opening scene you meet the characters get some dialog. Then once the Demon is released all hell breaks loose and it doesn't slow down. It just get's crazier and more bloodier. ( A total of 7 people walked out calming the couldn't take anymore) This movie is defiantly not for the people with weak a stomach. Also, don't compare it to the original cause it's kind of like it's own movie but they're references EVERYWHERE to Evil dead 1 and 2. (you can even here the voices of some of the original characters) Actually I don't even think remake is the proper thing to call this movie. I think the proper term to call this movie is a re-Imagining. Also one thing people may complain about is the plot. It's NOT a smart plot it's a simple plot some friends to go a cabin, release something evil, all hell brakes loose, it's simple. Something else I liked was the score. Whoever composed that did a great job. So yes it's an fantastic horror movie bloody, creepy, intense, and it has some of the best cinematography I've ever seen in a horror movie. I might even go see it again April 5th. I give it a 9.5 only because the creepy "We're gonna get you" Line is not in the movie. Don't forget ask me anything if you want to know. EDIT: Oh yeah fans of the original make sure you stay after the credits.
  16. My sister got me tickets for an Evil Dead Screening tonight. I'll post my review sometime later.
  17. Am I the only one having trouble following the track. Lol
  18. Speaking of horror films I feel EXTREMELY dumb for not knowing they were making a Evil dead movie. I need to come from under my rock more often. They played the red band trailer when I went to go see the Last Exorcism (which was a PG-13 movie). And there were a lot of young children in there. Anyway, I thought it looked amazing and I really like the idea of no ash, cause you and I know if they had an ash characters everyone would complain about how bad he was and how he's nothing compared to Bruce. So I think it would be best to just leave ash out of this one. But I do hope Bruce makes a nice Cameo.
  19. I saw quite a few movies this weekend. Jack the giant slayer. I mean it was enjoyable but it just wasn't my type of movie. The 3D was alright but if I were you I wouldn't pay the extra dollars for it. And as far as children, Its pretty violent (no blood though) If the kid can't truly separate fantasy from reality, then I wouldn't take them. (a lot of things get eaten by the giants) The last exorcism 2, the sequel nobody asked for. It started off okay but then it turned into a jump scare fest then ended with HORRIBLE CGI. Seriously, I've seen better in Syfy movies. I don't recommend at all, just wait for it to come on MTV. And I rented Argo and honestly after watching it I'm highly upset it won best picture. I mean it was good but very overrated. I believe the only reason it won was because Ben Affleck wasn't nominated for best director. I wish Zero dark thirty had won. (Jessica Chastain for president) On Wednesday my theater is having a screening of Oz the great and powerful and Dead man down. Not sure which one I want to see yet.
  20. Silent hill revelations .... Well it was very disappointing after waiting that long for a sequel there is just so much wrong but I really dont feel like getting into details the best I can give it is 1.9/5 Cloud atlas ...Well I'm confused lets just say that ... I mean I knew it though. I was like watch I'm gonna be super confused and I'm going to have to pay attention to every second ...Which if you dont you're gonna be extremely lost. I mean it's visually amazing and has some really cool effects. But I dont like confusing movies in general. Like inception, I couldn't stand that movie but once I understood it i thought it was amazing ... So I guess once I figure this movie out I'll love it. Now I'm not saying it isn't good, I'm just saying its confusing almost more confusing as Inception. Oh yeah and the acting was extremely good. 3.5/5 Could go up if I understand it. Tom hanks for president
  21. I saw Paranormal activity 4 last night. All I have to say is,the series is now for FANS ONLY !!! If you didn't like 2,3 then you're not gonna like this one. But if all you're looking for is a few good jump scares then you'll have a blast...But if you're looking for a story just stay home ... So i give it a 6/10 ...I just wish they would of gave SOME type of new information about Toby and the cult thing ...But they didn't. But I cant lie they're some really good jump scares you wont see coming ...
  22. Well I just saw sinister (advanced screening ) And all I have to say is ...Bring some extra pants LOL... But this movie sure enough shocked the hell out of me..In a VERY good way!! Now it may be as dumb as a bag of hair..but it's SCARY. Like really scary. The scariest movie I've seen in years ..If you thought insidious was scary you are in for a treat. The acting was good (Loved Ethan hawk in this movie ) Everyone was kinda realistic. The jump scares are scary and effective. This movie gives me hope about the horror franchise ..Hollywood hasn't destroyed them...yet !! So Sinister, best horror movie I've seen in years, WILL scare the s^%*t out of you, shocking and disturbing. I give it a 9/10 (VERY RARE FOR HORROR MOVIES ) GO SEE IT !! Oh and other movies I saw in theaters are House at the end of the street 3/10 (STAY AWAY) Dredd 8/10 (great visuals see it in 3D) End of watch 6/10 ( mehh just mehh)
