I kind of feel the same way, but like you said it's probably because I'm a young adult with no children. A thrilling coaster would be nice, but I'd also love to see a dark ride similar to what CW is getting. After the boardwalk expansion, I think Knott's is pretty solid on Family friendly rides for a few years at least.

No problem! If you have any more questions feel free to ask! Hope you have a great time and maybe I'll see you when I'm working haha . I go to Knott's one to two times a month. Let me know what ride you work on. I'm guessing that a picture of you in your avatar. I currently work the flats in fiesta village, but that will probably change soon.

Our policy on the fiesta flats is yes you can wear them if you have a strap, so I would assume yes. Sunday shouldn't be too bad, you should be able to get all the mazes done relatively easy if you show up at rope drop, but it may be worth it if you want the luxury. This will my second Year and I'm more interest in both shows and mazes. Are mazes less busy later in the night? In my personal experience, when you show up at rope drop you can pretty much walk on every maze if you just go in a rotation. After that, around 9-10 P.M. the mazes start getting really busy until it gets closer to closing, around 2 or so. Your best bet would be to show up at rope drop and do the prescare dinner if you want to get the early entry. What direction should I go at rope drop. Towards ghost rider or away from ghost rider? I'd recommend doing the mazes near ghostrider first, then working your way clockwise around the park. I've done this in the past and it's worked out nicely. The reason I'd recommend doing the Ghost Rider mazes first is because they are near the front of the park, so when the crowds arrive later on in the night it's the first place they go so if you put them off until the end you will encounter longer lines at them.

This is correct, I believe it's around the middle of the train like row 5 or 6, but I could be wrong. Here's a photo I took today of the xcel trains, the red train had water dummies. Spoke to my manager while talking to coworkers at Monte and he said it'll likely be up by tomorrow or the next day. Things are looking good for WCB.
-
My Manager talked to me today and said I won't be going to Monte and will be getting cross trained to Ghost Town. She says most likely I'll be going to Silver Bullet. Sadly, this means I won't get to operate Monte for you guys at WCB, but i'll try to get the close friends I know who operate the ride and know that you guys are enthusiasts that day to take the ERT shift so that it goes as best as possible . Not sure if I'll be trained in time to operate Silver Bullet for WCB, but hopefully it'll happen soon.

Saw it today, still looks pretty much the same. I spotted the purple train on the side and there was no visible damage to it. One of my managers said it would be down for about a week, but it's not always a reliable source. Hoping for the best for you guys so you get to ride and not be stuck with me all ERT at Monte .

Purchased my ticket for the SFMM day. If everything goes according to plan, I should be able to operate Monte for you guys on the Knott's day! Looking forward to another awesome TPR Event. -
Best and Worst Rides for Maintenance

Montezooma's Revenge at KBF seems to break down daily when I'm working. Not looking forward to that when I start operating it haha. -
Here's a few more photos. Mind the darkness as this was taken tonight after my closing shift at the park. Other than that, the train got a fresh coat of paint as mentioned and the station floor and stairs were redone with a rubbery material that looks nice. Next time you go to the park, check it out for yourself! . Front of the Train Decal View of Seats with new padding New airgates Circles all lit up nicely. I believe they added in different color bulbs, but I could be wrong. It looks awesome in person at night.
-
Sorry for no pictures, keep on forgetting to take them after work haha. I'll try to get some tomorrow, but basically from what I can tell,as was stated before the air gates are new,new floor/stairs, new lights on circles, and new train with new paint. It looks like the ride has been running really well from what I can tell. I don't know what the deal is with Xcelerator, but hopefully 'Murica train will be back up soon.

Just in case any one is going to the park soon, Monte went back up today. I didn't get to see all the detail, but I went up there to talk to my manager and they redid the station floor, airgates, and exit stairs which all look really nice! It looks like they redid the lights on the circles, but I can't confirm it. I'll have to find out tomorrow everything they did.
