  1. Sorry to "bump" this old-ish thread, but I would like to share my top 5 also, since everyone was doing it. As for my top five, I will only use coasters I've actually ridden: 1. Montu - Busch Gardens Africa 2. Great Bear - Hershey Park 3. Dragon Challenge(Blue) - Islands of Adventure 4. Dragon Challenge(Red) - Islands of Adventure 5. Batman - Six Flags Over Georgia Batman actually gave my tunnel vision, everything started turning gray. Guess this means I nearly passed out. Haha
  2. I guess its good that the park didn't get hit. That probably wouldn't have ended to good. :/ Whats up with all of these tornadoes anyways, 2012 theory! Only kidding..
  3. I'm going to Busch Gardens Tampa next Friday. If I knew you a little better, we could have probably planned a meet. Now I'm wondering, being a coaster enthusiast and all, if there are any long term effects on the human brain from riding roller coasters most of your life.. I'm worried that I'm going to be crazy(er) when I get older now! To bad I'm not a doctor or scientist, or I would test this, see if I can find anything wrong in peoples brains. Maybe submit it to Mythbusters to test?
  4. Does the drop still hit 90 degrees, at all? I don't know much about CoasterDynamix, but I would say this project is definitely inspiring me to buy one of there kits and assemble it(nothing custom will be done). Anyways, this dive machine is looking pretty nice, I like the layout of it. Have you created and finished any of these models in the past? If so, can I have a link to see your work? As for suggestions and/or tips, I'm completely blank.
  5. There are a ton of coaster types that I haven't really used before. The main ones would have to be like you said... Alpine Coaster Coaster Ball Lay Down Coaster Strata Coaster Virginia Reel Etc.. I really only use the extended coaster track with different CTR's. I like to keep my designs smooth and realistic. That probably explains why I haven't released a woodie built in RCT3 yet, its hard to make a layout thats actually smooth using that track type. Damn RCT3 creators couldn't smooth the track pieces...
  6. I have to agree with you there, if you eat a huge piece of New York style pizza, you've gained more calories then you would have burned off on the rides. Soo true!
  7. Years of riding roller coasters will make you "Twistyyyyy" -- Rob In all seriousness though, after riding a rough ride, you'll most likely get a headache or get sick. This means your body isn't to happy of what you just did to it. I wonder if there are any long term effects... because we usually just ignore these headaches and move on to the next ride! Is there a doctor in the house?
  8. Hey everyone! Some of you may know me from RCTLounge, or CoasterForum. I decided to join TPR because it always seems like everyone is having to much fun around here. I guess this is my big introduction... Anyways, hello!
