Okay, things are looking good for me to be there. I'm getting a frequent fear pass, so I will just have to pick up some express tickets. Looking forward to it!
MAX.(period) is nine on light and standard and ten on heavy and challenge. The song itself is terrible, and it was made for the sheer purpose of being insanly difficult. I haven't played it on extreme because I can't import, but I have tried it on Stepmania, and wasn't impressed at all.
Or, if you plan on going many times, you can get the Frequent Fear pass, which lets you get in any nonpeak nights (basically Sundays and Thursday) for around $40.
The thing that still boggles my mind is when people shorten works that are already extremely short. Like "u" instead of going two more letters for "you," or the number "2" for "to." Is it that much harder to type one more letter? Also, when people use the "@" for "at," when it is much easier to type "a" and "t" rather then holding down the shift key and searching for the 2.
-Choose level at the beginning, but you change the difficutly at any time.
-MaxXUnlimited isn't really that hard (beat it with a B), compared to Parnoia Survivor Max (Oni), Paranoia Respect, and Max. (period).
Home Best Feat:
Song: Balalaika, Carried with the Wind
Game: Ultramix 2
Score: AAA
Mode: Heavy
Where: My Living Room
*I must say, Ultramix 2 has an extremely large timing window, so it is a bit easy to get a perfect combo, but I take what I can get
Arcade Best Feat:
Song: Paranoia Survivor
Game: DDR Extreme
Score: A
Mode: Heavy
Where: NASCAR Cafe (Citywalk at Universal Orlando)
Good choice with Katamari. Right now that is all I play for PS2. Also, because I am to cheap to mod my PS2, I am stuck with playing Taiko Drum Master, which has mostly horrible covers to horrible American songs.
As for DDR 4th mix, I still think 3rd Mix > 4th Mix. Also, I find Ultramix 2 for XBOX to be the best DDR release in a long time.
Most schools in Central Florida aren't out for spring break until later in March. I know my school (I live in Osceola county, about 30 min. from Universal) is out the last week in March, so waits shouldn't be a big deal. Plus, if you are staying onsite, you get front of the line for everything.
