I'm in an extended good mood because the Giants got revenge on the Eagles and knocked Vick out of the game.

A comment on CP's post about the Millennium Force maintenance crew:
Darien Lake in NY should have this crew. The ride of steel coaster would not have been shut down for the season if these guys were maintaining the ride. You guys do a great job.Yeah, because it's totally the maintenance crew's fault that someone fell out.

Top Thrill Dragster- Great architecture, good music, efficient loading, decent theming, all-around good atmosphere.
Dragon Mountain- Elaborate queue (don't walk into the walls!), cool lighting, great theme.

Top 3 Wood.
1. El Toro @ SFGAdv
2. Boulderdash @ Lake Compounce
3. Coaster @ PNE Playland
Top 3 Steel.
1. Maverick @ Cedar Point
2. Bizarro @ SFNE
3. X2 @ SFMM
Good choices! I also have Maverick and El Toro as my number 1's, and Boulder Dash, Bizarro, and X2 are all on my most-wanted list (I'll ride Bizarro next month!)

Dragon Challenge (both sides). NEVER and I repeat NEVER go to IOA over Christmas break.
-
Also to add to the list of reasons for the brake run, the ride already costs $28 million. With how big the ride is and the high cost of steel, the additional track needed for another pair of bunny hills would make the cost of the ride significantly higher.
But seriously, it isn't a big deal at all.

You know I don't want to say I called it, but in the Yes or No game;
No.Should they make an Avatar-themed coaster?
I didn't say that they would, but it's an interesting coincidence. Anyway, I didn't love the movie, but this is still a good idea because from a visual perspective, the theming should obviously be incredible-looking. I'm interested to see where they go with this.

TV, bad drivers, being completely dependent on NY and Philly, smelling bad, lots of factories, endless suburbia, etc. I'm not saying this is true in all cases, but they are stereotypes that have at least an element of truth to them. No offense meant to anyone from NJ. On the bright side, NJ has SFGA and Giants games, so it's not all bad.
-
^^^Yeah they got it open on time, but then it had some pretty major issues...just saying.
^That would be cool, it would be funny to be able to look at someone with a fear of heights while riding.

I wonder where it would end up on Mitch's poll. Maybe DEAD last?
Nope, still better than Goudurix

I agree with what most of you are saying, it could mean the end is coming, or it could be the best thing to ever happen to the park. We'll have to wait and see what kind of company JMA is. I'm just shocked that CF didn't pull a "Kentucky Kingdom" and relocate Flight Deck to Kings Island. Best of luck to CGA though.

This is so rigged...it's sad. Bizarro and MF are literally in my "Top 5 coaster that could burn with SOB". They're both really boring and not forceful.
Usually I don't like to bash other people's opinions...but burn with SOB? Even if you think they're overrated, you can't be serious.

LOL, all hail the great Magnum XL 200.
Here is a list of some of the coasters that were ranked behind Magnum XL 200.
-Intimidator 305
-Ride Of Steel
-Superman Ride of Steel (Six Flags America)
-Goliath
-Titan
I'm going to go ahead and assume that this is all one big joke. Am I the only one that thinks Magnum is really rough and flat out not that great? And even if you do like Magnum... #10??? Really????
The only one on your list that seems like it's indisputably better than Magnum is I305. Based on my experience on Magnum, my taste in coasters, and what I have heard others say about the rides you mentioned, I think I would rank Magnum higher than ROS and the Giovanola hypers (I assume you're talking about SFMM's Goliath). But yeah, #10 seems a bit ridiculous. It's my #7, but I've only ridden 35 coasters, so I think if I had been on 100-200, it would be lower in my rankings. But that's CP bias for you.
-
The only one that I've been on is Rolling Thunder, and it's my least favorite coaster, so I don't have a favorite.

"Once it gets to the top it drops down!!"
In fairness, when I was looking at the KI website's description of the ride last year before it opened, the wording was really confusing, and made it sound like it did drop. They were trying to compare it to Drop Tower, and I could see how that person may have misinterpreted it. Then again, they changed the description since then, so maybe the person was just being dumb.

Yes, and I've also gone to school with a bleeding hole in the back of my head because my parents didn't think that it needed to be bandaged.
In general, do you think Arrow was a good manufacturer?
-
I'm excited to see the results, even though I know Mitch Hawker is more reliable. I always like analyzing polls, and this one still has a certain amount of validity if you look at it from a US-centric perspective. Will Bizarro or Millennium Force get #1? Will I-305 crack the top 10? Will Maverick get a bit more respect? I can't wait to see the rankings, even if I'll be taking them with a grain of salt.

Incredible. I will gladly donate my entire life savings for these poor animatronic hippos. May they someday find a home where they are not shot by evil tour guides.

No.
Should they make an Avatar-themed coaster?
