Six Flags wanted to close down Darien Lake in lieu of selling it after the 2006 season. Darien Lake charges extra for the water park. B&M was to build Drachen Fire at Busch Gardens Williamsburg to be a "sister" coaster to Kumba at Busch Gardens Tampa.

I don't get it why would Six Flags Astroworld decided to use a dragon for Viper's logo and tunnel. Vipers are a breed of snakes, so it would have made sense if they went with a snake for the logo and tunnel artwork. That picture of Bug Bunny diving was also used on the backs of Little Golden books back in the day!

Vekoma should make suspended coasters with the Arrow style trains in addition to the ones with floorless trains like many modern inverted coasters use. A new "family" suspended coaster with Arrow style trains made by Vekoma would be an ideal replacement for Iron Dragon. A replacement coaster for Corkscrew would be like a Superman: Ultimate Flight (SFDK) style coaster or a spinning coaster.

I much rather see Vekoma give Iron Dragon an overhaul with Arrow style trains! If Cedar Point does decide to get rid of Corkscrew, I would rather see B&M or Vekoma ( ) remake the Corkscrew coaster to replace the old Arrow one.

^ No, not the Iron Dragon they should keep it, it's one of the last Arrow suspended coasters left in the world let alone North America! Without Iron Dragon, the only family coaster at Cedar Point would be Wooodstock Express.

B&M floorless clones! Vekoma SLC Mind Eraser clones or Zamperla Motocoaster clones?

Here's the 1997 park map, and I thought they removed the train that went around Elk Lake that year, but they did move the kiddie bumper cars and Hoot 'N Holler (then known as "Nessie Coaster") to over near the then new Mind Eraser and I thought that Scrambler was added in 1999, but it was listed on the map in 1997. So, now I'm confused about when Darien Lake added Scrambler and removed Funtime Junction. Sources say that Funtime Junction was removed in 1997 and Scrambler was added in 1999, but this map shows both rides listed. If anyone can clear up the confusion for me, that would be helpful!
