They got rid of their old kids area to make room for the DC Comics area. The newer Looney Tunes themed kids area was built where the old water park area was. The kids area was called "Looney Tunes Seaport" and it featured rides for kids like Daffy Diver, Roadrunner Express, Pepe Le Pew's Rafts of Romance, Bugs' Carrot Cans, Porky's Flight School, and Sylvester's Pounce 'n Bounce. The DC Comics area called "DC Universe" rides were Superman: Ultimate Flight (a clone of the SFDK version), The Joker (a Scrambler ride), Batwing (a B&M Wing Rider coaster), Batman: The Ride (you know what one this is ), Lex Luthor: Drop of Doom (a 500 foot drop tower), Mr, Freeze (not a "Reverse Blast" coaster), Superman: Escape from Krpyton (from SFMM), Joker's Jinx (from SFA), and Gotham City Crime Wave (a Wave Swinger ride). As a result of Southern Point being bought by Six Flags it was renamed "Six Flags Southern Point". It was the most southren Six Flags theme park being in Florida where there are lots of theme park, But Six Flags Southern Point ended up putting Busch Gardens Tampa out of business and Six Flags Southern Point became the only theme park in the Tampa/St. Petersburg area.

Granted, but Six Flags Great America test runs Goliath's train while you're sleeping in one of them and you wake up to find yourself on the coaster without a lapbar and/or seatbelts and you fall off from it! I wish that I could bring my shark noodle to the beach and ride it!
