Well, the same can go for Darien Lake when it comes to coasters. Darien Lake has a Mind Eraser (Vekoma SLC), a Boomerang coaster, and the first of two Superman: Ride of Steel clones. The Superman branding has been removed from Darien Lake's Ride of Steel since 2007 and I think Motocoaster has a few clones as well!
Even after Six Flags sold Darien Lake the only major investments were made were the water park addition (Swirl City and Flotation Station) in 2010 and a new kiddie land (Rowdy's Ridge) in 2012. The least that Darien Lake can do now is some park improvement before opening day.
I guess as long CNL owns Darien Lake, we'll never see a $25 million coaster? Then the only that Darien Lake would get attendance up would to have something that you can't get at any other theme park in world like, a special one of kind attraction that would blow Darien Lake's competitors away or maybe a new one of kind water slide complex (to replace 'Cuda Falls?). Also some ride repaints and two train operations!
Granted, but Magnum sinks so low that it get berried under the que line for it!
I wish that the next owner of the Buffalo Bills keeps them in Buffalo, NY?
Now i'm not sure if the "Lake Monster" project will ever happen even if CNL sells Darien Lake to Herschend, but one thing's for sure either way I'd like to see Darien Lake get a new coaster and I mean new and not a kiddie coaster!
Granted, but you end up pooping out the gerbil!
I wish that I would stop obsessing about weather or not Darien Lake is going to reopen 'Cuda Falls this season!
Booking a trip to an amusement park, then your flight makes an emergency landing then gets delayed for three days and you have book a flight home!
What's worse than fire-breathing dragons destroying your home park?
