And you should also bank the top of the hill after the rollover because it's what most SLCs are like. -
RCT2 La Ronde Recreation
MeMeMe replied to djbrcace1234's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
I've gained several things here at TPR over the past few months: CS, Trainers, and most importantly experience. That's why I'm considering restarting the recreation. I won't start just yet; I can't go to the park until April, and internships for 13 year olds are generally frowned upon. However, with a little luck and a lot of hacking, I might pull this off. If all goes well, I might join NE and aim to win something over there. I need your opinions: Make the park or Kill the park? -

You should sink the fountains, unless they're supposed to be floating. Otherwise, this park is amazing. I just hope I look good for my pass photo. -
Maybe Le Monstre? Still my favorite big woodie.

WildDog? -
My one problem with the shot of the ant-sized people from V2 is that it looks like whoever took the shot will slam into that support at very high speed. Nothing much, but unrealistic by this park's standards. If this place was coaster Nirvana, there might be a ginormous William Cobb double-tracked coaster, similar to Le Monstre at La Ronde. All the best Canadian woodies (including Upper Clement's tree topper) were by them. Too bad they're gone. Other than that, I agree with Vekoma Dutchman ^ And it may be just a coincidence. I'm certain they got great coasters because they were just the most visited and most convenient.

Corkscrew Adventures [RCT2]
MeMeMe replied to B.A.B's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Imo the first corkscrew after the brakes is way too high off the ground unless you plan on adding more terrain. Also, why are you using the in-game supports in conjunction with the good ones? It just looks very weird. Aside from that, it looks to be a very fun ride. -

It's probably too late now, but your map is a bit badly sized. It looks like you will just have a bunch of empty space behind the Arrow. Might I suggest pushing it back or putting a parking-lot? The layout is cool, but I hate screenshots where the diagonal lift is shown head-on. Amazing work though, much better than I could do. -
The "Preview" Thread

For those of you who read my SFO thread, here's something for you: I need a name, preferably Spanish. Suggestions? Note: I'll change the station. Promise. -
Six Flags Ontario: A Redo [RCT2]
MeMeMe replied to MeMeMe's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
I was surprised that they hadn't told me. Told me what, you ask? Well, something along the lines of this: Wow. One of the first things you notice in the Spanish area is the Mercado: Here you can buy several foods and souvenirs. You will also notice that Six Flags moved the Screaming Swings to the "new" area (it's actually built where Bear and Bumblebee once stood): This next one is the largest planned building in Fiesta EspaƱa: Hmmm... Interesting. What is it? (NOT a bullfighting arena) The progress: PRESS LEAK TIME! So it is a swinger. More notably, a terrain swinger. Tons and tons of gravel, dirt and stone were trucked to the site, as well as trees and water. This is the largest investment so far, and will be for the next while. In addition to yet another roller-coaster making its way into the only Canadian Six Flags (for now), Blue Fire's effects just got better: The tunnel is darker, longer and foggier, and if you look closely at the left, you will notice the new water cannon. The hope is that the guests will flock into the park to see the new coaster. Okay, we're not lying like SFGAdv did about Bizarro, but we are advertising it. On the topic of so-called "new" coasters, the Bumblebee has made its long awaited return. One of the best things about its new location is the terrain and the foliage: See? Isn't it pretty? As you can see, it flies over the Six Flags Express, which is the first real interaction section of the train ride. On that note, it is clear that it will reopen. The question is: When? What happened to the bridge? Is there a new station? Will I stop asking questions? Nobody knows the answer to any of these questions. To keep you in suspense, here's yet another aerial view of the park: -

I really like the entrance in the last update; not only was white a much better idea, but the trees really add to the atmosphere. Although I hope you'll start the "Corkscrew" part going, because I want to see what you can do, coaster-wise. -

I'm sorry, but "Glad to see it gone" is the kind of thing that gets me mad. I certainly don't think it was my best work, and removing it was for the better, but come on. There were many alternative ways to have expressed your dislike. On the other hand, you're right about my foliage, I'll give you that. I made the scenario in haste, and I only used, at any point, one type of foliage. I'm sorry about that. If only 8cars could let me use the scatter scenery option, that would be superb. -

^and^^, Thanks for the tips. I think what I'll do is re-create all the custom rides at Laronde (so not Ednor, Vampire, Boomerang or Tobbogan Nordique). That means say hi to Le dragon, Goliath and (possibly) Marche au Mille-Pattes (Millipede Dance). I'm also considering remaking Behemoth, Wild Beast, Mighty Canadian Minebuster, Backlot Stunt Coaster and others from Canada's Wonderland, as well as the big woodie at Upper Clements. For now, no U.S. recreations, at least until my parents give in and take me to Great Adventure, New England, Disney or Cedar Point. Maybe the whimpy kid's coaster at Gulliver's somethingorother in Milton Keynes, UK, though. Just wait and see! -

^If you mean, keep Bear in the park, no. Sorry, but the parts are already gone, and the park has apparently been planning this, along with a replacement for it. However, if you want, which I'm not sure you do, I'll send you the ride through a PM if you message me, if I can find it in my backups. If I can't, sorry, but Bye-bye Bear. -
While I do not have enough work for a single thread for each topic, I have too much to post in the Preview thread. My solution: Narcissistic Industries. This is not a coaster company or park chain, but some ideas I have. However, if at any point I decide a design is good enough, I'll post it in a park of mine, once I get a thread going. For example, get a load of these: SCR67.BMP A B&M Invert. No close-ups; I'm using this in a park soon... SCR68.BMP ...And this too SCR69.BMP A good old Racer, anyone? SCR72.BMP A mini park. Here are Jump! and Double Loop SCR73.BMP The big picture SCR74.BMP Double Loop's building SCR75.BMP Keep in mind, I don't know how to connect supports with 8cars SCR77.BMP River of Insanity SCR79.BMP For those of you who read my "La Ronde Recreation" thread, you'll be pleased to know that, while it is dead, I still made the coasters! Here are the sexy helixes on Le Monstre SCR80.BMP Double Lifthills SCR81.BMP The first half of the ride: Drop, 2nd drop, airtime hills SCR82.BMP The yummy Helixes SCR83.BMP The double station; it's not exactly like le monstre because you exit in between platforms, but i couldnt do that. Oh well. SCR84.BMP The crazy headchopping finale SCR85.BMP IMO the best woodie *ever* SCR86.BMP An idea of mine: Patriot City. Here is Centennial Screamer. SCR87.BMP Crazy watery curve! SCR91.BMP Along with my best Intamin comes my best buildings SCR92.BMP The spinning dark ride, named 5D Revolution. Geddit? Revolution... Spinning... oh, never mind. SCR93.BMP Very wild mousey, but thrilling nonetheless SCR95.BMP To continue, here is another recreation: Le Cobra, the Intamin standup SCR97.BMP I haven't completed the Vekoma support stuff, but her is Le Super Manege (The Super Ride). Tell me what you think of all this please!

Oh come on. Not even negative comments? Whatever. New things are happening down at SFO... For example, whatever is happening to Bear. At first, us fans were hopeful that it was just retracking... We were amazed at how quickly it was all gone. There are rumors, however, that another park will acquire it, but it is doubtful. On a brighter note, things are going very well for the great big Wolfston Railroad: Although, the same cannot be said for Goldrush: In other news, the stuff across the river is going smoothly: Don't panic! The kiddie coaster is being moved to another area to make way for another ride, although Darkula's Castle is not bringing in as much attention as needed, and may be removed. But... NEW RIDE!! I'll leave you with another aerial:
