It's probably the creepy robes and capes they CMs have to wear. Between the CMs and GP it's hard to keep it straight! There's just way too many people in that area and I have absolutely no idea what's going on. I just hate it. But the butter beer is good.

Checked out Spiderman this morning and I do think the updates turned out great. The 3D is very crisp and clear and the new soundtrack sounds great. And a side note....I hate Potterland. That part of the park just gives me an anxiety attack now.

Good to see a bit of how the new Festhaus show will look. I'm not sure how I feel about the change as I particularly enjoyed the traditional show on my previous visits, but we shall see. Change can be a good thing, right? Nice update though, thanks!

Awesome update Chuck! Busch has done an amazing job with the theming and those trains are beautiful. I can't wait to check this out later this summer.

I said pretty much the same thing to Steve earlier today. There is so much I missed that day in Miniland. I would love to go back and spend much more time examining all of the scenes in Miniland. It's pretty incredible what they have done!

I've done the mini golf (which is loads of fun), now it's time to tackle the new Spiderman. Looking forward to it. It looks like a great improvement!

Kumba was down for about 10 minutes Sunday towards the end of the day. A guy walks into the queue and stands on the rails and starts yelling at his friends/family/whoever saying "Mom doesn't want you to ride. Come on. Let's leave. Besides, you don't want to be the first one to go on after they fix it!"

I read the thread title and instantly started singing "We're going to the fair....the Alachua County Fair (fair)" before I even opened it. Then the first thing I see is the actual theme song. I'm not sure whether to thank you or curse you. It's been too long since I've heard that song.

I'll repeat what Steve said....if anyone is planning on going to NYC in the future, do yourself a favor and schedule at least an hour of your time to visit the memorial. It was beyond worth it. I visited Ground Zero in November 2001, when there were still shells of buildings and the smell was something that is forever ingrained in my mind. Walking around the area this summer before the NE trip and then visiting the memorial in September was something I was anxious about but now so happy to have done. It's extremely emotional, extremely powerful and extremely humbling. I would say this is the #1 must see in NYC now.

There was no way I was going to add anything to mess up the deliciousness of that pizza!

ECB was a great day (although the drive back to Virginia that night was torturous). I had been wanting to go to Hershey for a very long time so the Bash at the end of the NE Trip was the perfect opportunity. It was definitely a fun-filled day. Oh, and you're welcome for winning you the concept art. Another great trip and great report!

I hated this place. Like you said, not sure if it was fatigue or what, but I was so freaking creeped out by everyone there. And I'd just like to echo your sentiments on the trip and the friends we made. You guys are the best! Miss you all every day.
