  1. Glad to see TPR is doing a tour again. I've had the wonderful pleasure of Going on three of them and the amount of time and work Robb And Elissa put into it is incredible. So please say thank you until blue in the face to them lol. Loved the kid west tour..,with the city museum. I only got minor bumps and scrapes! Have fun everyone, ride on!
  2. Hopefully, I can make it this year!!! and hopefully I wont re post things twice lol
  3. Thanks Elissa! Maybe I'll swing by knoebels to say hello to some peeps.
  4. You mentioned tickets for the theater portion. Are the fireworks a non ticket event or does this ticket cover the whole frozen experience ? Curious as I will be traveling to Disney next month.
  5. Hoping to purchase my ticket next payday for this. Have not been to KI since 2010. Excited for Banshee and night rides on the Beast! Diamondback is the icing on top.
  6. Are there other TPR events in the works for this year?
  7. On their page today I noticed it saying boat tag and bumper boats Will be removed. Sounds like a lot of people are bummed out about the bumper boats being Removed.
  8. B&M: One final question. The splashdown elements on your coasters (on the dive coasters and on diamonback) what led to that element being incorporated into your coasters? Did this idea come out of a park's request for such an element or out of your designers at some point?
  9. B&M: What led to the stadium style seating on such coasters as Diamonback, Intimadator and Behemoth?
  10. Thanks Elissa! Can't wait to see what the trips will be.
  11. When I rode it I noticed the lap bar pressure is a little less sitting in the middle compare to the wing seats. But yeah as was said, they were waiting until everyone exited and cleared the station before letting the next group on=long dispatch time. I did like the lazy susan bag drops they put in though. But I wish the lapbars didn't cause so much tightness. I mean it's so good a ride in hurts and the air is great but maybe this could be a good nickname for it........"Thighcrush".........
  12. Now is this B&M's first Stand up coaster or first coaster all together.
  13. I know Dorney and C. Wonderland have it new for this year. I personally have not heard anything about them getting the fast lane option. It's just a waiting game at this point I think.
  14. Thanks guys^ that is def some great info I can put to use.
  15. Hey guys, Planning on hitting up these three parks over Memorial Day Weekend this year. I shopped around and there are so many hotels to choose from in BGW area. Any recommendations that are fairly close to the park. Keeping my fingers crossed Verbolten is open by then. kings I have most of the credits from...except Ricochet and one side of rebel yell...I think there may be a kiddie credit in there too? SFA ok Apocalypse is going up ever so slowly. Do we see it completed by late May or possibly in the middle of summer? Any other tips to throw out there would be much appreciated! Thanks guys. Coaster season is almost upon us! Corey~
  16. Need a little help. Going out to Disnyeland next week and Knotts is on my list. Visiting the park next Thursday. Does that park take a full day to do or maybe just half a day? On their website it says that thursdays are less crowded. It also says June the crowds are also very light. What coaster should I hit up first? I do have a platinum pass so I got the parking and admission down. Any tips or help would be appreciated! I did not have too much time to go through all of the forum pages on here so if anyone is repeating themsevles thats my fault!
  17. There had to be that small or gigantic roller coaster somewhere in this world that got you hooked. For me it was Apollo's Chariot. I was in 10th grade and I was on a high school band trip (Don't worry I sat in front of the bus!) I was practically dragged onto it by two other bandmates and I was hooked right when I got off of it. Although I wore glasses at the time (I took em off) the ride was a bit of a blur. Thankfully this past summer I revisited that and all those BG coasters for a proper 20/20 view with contacts this time!
  18. I agree with the kiddie coasters. They are fun and they build up my credits ! Come to think of it, invertigo aka face off at Kings was more on the smooth side. I guess you have to build what sells hence all the coaster clones by various companies. Maybe it costs less too in the long run. Vekoma booms don't take up much space unlike B@M's. Probably to get a custom track layout now would cost tons. Its funny how Six Flags (Think that was the right company) were disgusted with them and that is why they stopped purchasing them.
  19. Ok here is the scoop. I have been on my fair share of SLC Vekoma's and various figure 8's. Why do these headbangers get labeled just as such? Now I think Aerosmith in Hollywood Studios (even though I still love to call it MGM) and Mt. Everest are great rides. Now I am sure Disney had a hand in that. So why do we sometimes shudder whenever we hear Vekoma. I remember MindEraser at Six Flags America gave me an ear/head bash fest. Is it the track, is it their design? I am curious as to what the TPR world thinks about this.
