  1. ^Ok cool, I would love the feedback Also, I forgot to mention this is theoretically two roller coasters in one. I know this can never be put into a real theme park. I'm working on making the two parts their own roller coaster, but as for now keep in mind the "fantasy" element when reviewing. Thanks!
  2. Oh that's good news. Maybe Disney should do something like that (cough cough)
  3. Rock n Roller Coaster after the park was closed (one of the perks of the job ) Love in a Roller Coaster!!
  4. Well I know I'm going against the grain, but this is my first year of being a true "coaster enthusiast"! I'm keeping coaster counts and gonna start traveling around here to parks I haven't been to. So here's my list: First Coaster: Rock n' Roller Coaster (done) First Park: All the Walt Disney World Parks (done) First New Park: Bush Gardens Africa First New Coaster: Intimidator Carowinds And last but not least: First Ever Enthusiast Group: TPR (gonna join Club TPR here around May-ish)
  5. ^ Well sweet then! Then I'll be rock'n the single riders line (as long as there aren't families and groups that go in there thinking it's gonna be quicker, therefore making it a longer wait than the regular line. That happens at Rock n Rollercoaster and it's annoying)
  6. I am really really jealous that I can't be there on opening day. I am coming home in the summer tho and an Intimidator marathon is in the cards. I hope they do have a single riders line.
  7. Yes Chris Sawyer needs to take control of the series again! And no EA either. They need a company that will let him have control of the game to return the game to RCT 1 & 2 glory
  8. You're right, but as long as Atari is holding the rights to the RCT franchise, you can forget about that.
  9. As requested here are some more pictures first drop weird little turnaround helix in part 1 preview of the crazy-ness of part 2
  10. Hey there everybody. I'm relatively new to No Limits and I have a few coasters already built, so I wanted to post some to get some feedback from you guys for my future works. Hades Splinter.nltrack Hades Splinter track file Sky View of my first No Limits coaster This is my first No Limits coaster ever, and I think it turned out pretty well. This is a fantasy coaster, so yes I know that its A) too long to be a real coaster, B) yes there are some pumps, and C) I know that you can't really do what I did at the start of a second part (You'll have to figure that part out on your own...it's a surprise ) Your feedback and constructive criticism is greatly appreciated!
  11. Ok I'm new to this site, but I feel like I'm really stupid right now. And I don't really know who to ask about this so I thought it'd be safe to post this question here (and if it's not please let me know) I was looking around the "Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, and Donkeys!" Discussion board, and I noticed all the different theme park discussion threads. So I was searching for the Disney's Hollywood Studios thread...but I couldn't find one. So I searched for it...still nothing. Then I noticed that there wasn't one for any of the Walt Disney World resorts. Is there a reason for this? Is there another thread I should be looking for? Do I just need to start a thread? Am I asking too many questions? (probably yes) but help would be greatly appreciated.
  12. Pretty good job, man. Being anal (giggity), some of the pumps need to be smoothed out in the turns and your helix needs to be mirrored (this being a recreation and all). But the hills were really smooth and it makes me wanna ride the real thing that much more. 8/10
  13. And if we're all being anal right now (giggity) the second part of the hammerhead turn around needs to be a little higher. But other than that it's looking good so far! Can't wait to download it and give it a ride
  14. Oh wow ok so I'm sure I've probably seen you when I had parade duty at Kali.
  15. Ouch...I think I just died a little on the inside haha. Also how's GOW III? I just got the GoW collection not too long ago and and I'm half way through GoW II.
  16. Cool! Just look for the tall skinny white kid in the red vest. Can't miss me haha
  17. I agree. The layout has me really worried. I mean droping 305 feet then going straight into a turn? Yes I know that Intimidator Carowinds has been done before, but i'd rather have that and have a lot of fun than brace for impact on I305. But going back on topic, I would love to see some more flat rides at Carowinds. I love Kaos at Cedar Point and I would love to see some of the old fashioned carnival rides added to the park.
  18. My biggest geek out moment was my second day of training at Rock n' Roller coaster and I got to go inside the building and walk the track. This was the first time that I've been able to get this close to a roller coaster. As soon as I got to the top of the stairs at the first MCBR, I looked around and yelled, "HOLY CRAP THIS IS AWESOME!"
  19. Anybody else picked it up? I'm through chapter 10 and I'm loving every single moment of it so far. It's no Final Fantasy X in my book but it's still really good.
  20. Ok now that Timmy is almost here, what do you see Carowinds doing in the next 3 years or so now that we have a big coaster to our name?
  21. Frosted Strawberry Pop Tarts and Chicken Ramen mhmmmmm
  22. Ok, so I'm in Chapter 10 right now, and I have to say that so far I'm really liking this game. The story is really solid (although it took a while for me to understand it), the art direction is really cool, the game itself looks beautiful, and the battle system is solid. I don't really mind the lack of control of what characters you used up to this point but having all the classes covered seemed to help a lot. Now a lot of people are gonna bash it for being too linear. Well Final Fantasy X was my favorite and it was just as linear but it still was an amazing game. I want to hear what everybody else thinks about it out there.
  23. I would love to see that realism stated earlier with a No-Limit style coaster design engine. I also would like to see the companies in there also, that's a good one. One problem I've always had is i would like to get rid of the grid. That way I could turn tracks, flat rides, paths, and stalls in any direction that I wanted them too. But if Atari is going to continue to make the RCT games from here on out, you can forget about it being any good.
  24. Of course as soon as I move away from Charlotte for the foreseeable future they build one of the coolest coasters in the area! (just my luck...) But anyway I'm new to this site and I'm sure that this has already been stated multiple times in this thread, but Carowinds desperately needed this coaster. Driving down I-77 towards the park was starting to get depressing with that small of a skyline. It was like "Wait...is that Carowinds?" But now that Timmy's up it's more like "WOW! There goes Carowinds!" And this is our first big new coaster since Top Gun (oh wait...sorry...Afterburn...) so it's nice to see Cedar Fair investing in our park. Anybody else think that Intimidator Carowinds is gonna blow Intimidator 305 right out of the water?
