What does the helix have to do with the lift hill? The only new thing with the lift is the extra 10 feet at the top as far as I know. I was talking about the turns over the lift hill. I think of those as helixes. That's what I was saying. They made the ride look like it did and like Zingoman said, the ride wouldn't be the same without it.

Well they had to (tear up the helix) in order to do the lift hill, and I really liked that helix albeit it was taken kind of slow recently. So hopefully they keep the helix.

^Well since it'll technically be the exact same as before except for the double up, banking and mid course brake run it'll be safe to say just expect the same TG. Layout wise at least.

Well when I recently went to Disneyland for a band trip, we were in California's Adventure about 20 minutes before final meet up, so we thought we'd sit around and people watch, which was funny, because whenever we saw a little kid in a stroller with a little sword, they were always holding it around the same place (their crotch) so me and my friends would crack up almost every time we saw one of these "gifted" kids. But other than that only if I'm somewhere and there's nothing to do, then I will people watch and usually I have a lot of fun.

I'm so totally going the next opportunity I get to take a gander at this awesomeness.

Tbh, the only real things I liked about it were: 1: The first drop because you look like you can get drenched and 2: The sign that said "Tresspassers will be shot! Surviviors will be shot again!"

^The thing is, it has no style really. It's just a Texas thing (Everything's bigger in Texas) so it's not like there's much you could put unless you went cowboy on it and play like, Wild West music or something but that would still be dumb

^I agree that it doesn't need audio and that X2's audio actually works for the coaster. How? I have no clue, it just works a lot better than the other fails that Six Flags made with Biazzaro's and Terminator

Well I've been on Space Mountain and California Screamin' at Disneyland and it does fit very well. I'm just saying, I don't think there's any type of audio worth putting on the Texas Giant that would make sense. Exhibit A: The Bizarro's.Yes it adds to the experience but apparently it's random crap so it's just somewhat pointless.

^They said that they're looking into it and it's possible but it hasn't been confirmed. Personally I really don't see an appropriate audio for the Texas Giant. Hopefully it wouldn't be mindless babbling like on the Bizzaro's
