  1. I don't think SF Inc. is ready to start spending $50+mill on rollercoasters, what this rumored launched monster would easily cost. They probably would even pass on the $28 million B&M charged for Levi Also if this Rumor was true I think SFMM would be missing the mark again on what the park is missing and that's AIRTIME!!!. Something like a KK recorded breaking Rocket coaster sounds more like it would just be a huge top hat and huge twist and turns. I really can't see to many airtime hills in a record braking rocket coasters future look at KK and Rossa a park would need unlimited space and money to handle the speed unless it's trimmed somewhere on it's course.

I just want to see a giga airtime machine, have the lift start in the log jammer area and go up over the mountain, have the drop and a turn like i305 or an Overbanked turn on the Goldrusher side of the mountain. Fly through the old monorail tunnel and come out into a magical twisted Intamin airtime orgy over the old Log Jammer lake area They could probably get Intamin to do that for $25 million, Also considering their last major was Tatsu at $21 million a giga is more in their ball park imo and much easier to swallow then a $50+ million dollar known to be maintence nightmare.

  2. ^^ Better to give yourself more time to get things done then to have to delay and have people whining about the delay lol

It's just part of a turn and it's already just oozing with Intamin sexiness

After everything that's been announced for 2012 Skyrush is still my #1 must ride for next year!!! Is it to early to do a Paul Ruben and declare this as the #1 ride on the planet and my ultimate #1

  3. Question anyone know why when I use the support flanger in the construction kit or the stand alone flanger program it changes the speed of my coaster, my coaster is hauling A$$ through the course then when I flang it, in either program it vallies what is going on?

Also I could have a small puddle of water on the map but when I go into the construction kit and then back into the NL program the entire map is covered in water what is going on?

  4. In an LA Times article about the most anticipated rides for 2013 it says that Log Jammer is opening up 6 acres of land, my question is doesn't I305 occupy 5 acres I could swore I read that some where. If this is true then SFMM can build something as large as I305 or larger then I305 in Log Jammers area.

About the Colossus Ntag treatment, do you guys think it will just be a complete re-tracking with the steel beam track or a complete remodel like Ntag? Do you think they could raise the height of the first drop and put in some racing overbanked turns and stuff like that?

I wondering is 2013 going to be another 3 attraction year for the mountain, A new coaster, Colossus Ntag treament and something else maybe another coaster, water ride, or flat ride.

  5. I hope Intamin announce that they have destroyed everything related to an aquatrax, go to Japan and rip that one out too and destroy it, then hypnotize every coaster enthusiast and wipe it from their brains then it would be like it never existed and I'd never have to hear about an Aquatrax ever again

Far as 1-10 excitement level, I'd be off the charts with 100 I be so happy if this Giga rumor is true.

The Giant Frisbee wouldn't be an insult if they didn't plop it right in the middle of the area, the area is big enough for more then just a Giant Frisbee. Thinking about it forget HUSS, How bout we keep Intamin in the park for a while they offer a Giant Gyro Swing that's said to be better then the HUSS model or so I've heard. Couldn't you see a Intamin Gyro Swing sitting next to an Intamin Blitz coaster using up Deja Vu's and Mr. Six old spot, I know I can

  6. All I have to say about that is... please let it be Intamin, please let it be Intamin, please let it be Intamin, I'll chant that in my head until they announce it in 2012 lol

From the CoasterGuy Twitter "construction walls are up on the former Bonzai Terrace, I wonder if that's going to be the new employee cafeteria? That makes more sense. The infrastructure is already there for cooking stuff and it's centrally located, even if it is up on top of the hill." I would agree with that and imo Deja Vu area plus if you add in the Mr.Six spot is a lot of space to use just for a Cafeteria, that space could be used well for a new ride or two plus an update or retheme of Psyclone Bay.

  7. Well Someone named Monty1998 over at Westcoaster has posted that the clearing that was thought to be for Knotts new coaster, now has building foundations. I wonder could this be maybe for new offices or something? building foundations doesn't sound like the makings of a Giga imo. I wonder if it's foolish of me to still have an ounce of hope that there is still something on the horizon for Knotts 2012

  8. I'm sorry, but I just still don't see anything impressive about this coaster yet. I thought maybe construction would make it look massive, but it just looks like another hyper still...still waiting to be impressed.

I know what you mean. But honestly, they didn't do anything that different from their hyper designs. It's just bigger. There's really nothing about it thats amazing other than the fact thats its a giga.

I 100% agree with both of you, maybe if it had that crazy turnaround that the PA hyper is suppose to be getting I'm not that impressed but I also wouldn't be mad if the WestCoast was gettting it.

  9. Why would they have to remove the lakes to install a huge coaster in that spot? couldn't they just build over and put supports in the lake and re-fill? Maybe the lakes will be used for the rumored Dive Machine splash down

I just hope what ever is going in Log Jammer spot that SFMM tries to weave it into the tree and save as many trees as they can like Dolly did with WE. I can just hear it now year 2025 ...there is still p-lot under Scream and the trees haven't fully grown back in yet SFMM sucks oh yeah what are they getting in 2026

  10. I glad to finally see a drop that I've been making for years in No limits come to life That picture makes that first drop/element look pretty wild, I'm sure it's going to be pretty unnerving for some sitting in the front looking at it twist and drop like it does. That's why I'm so glad SFGAm is getting X-flight b/c I know I won't be getting to Thorpe anytime soon to try this amazing looking drop there.

  11. Well since SFMM seams to be going with out with the old in with the new maybe they can add this to the Sky Tower http://www.usthrillrides.com/products/skyspire

Also isn't that a green Batman inverted coaster in that background?

Imo they should replace Log Jammer with another water ride instead of a coaster, maybe something like Shoot the Rapids or a high speed terrain splash battle lol

  12. I find it funny how I've taken people to SFMM who have never been or been years since they're last visit and they fall absolutely head over heels in love with the place with not one mention of a ride being over the p-lot. Yet an enthusiast will complain year after year after year about the same thing. I also have non=enthusiast friends that swear Tatsu is the most beautiful coaster since the invention of coasters lol they are not going OMFG they ruined Rev, or saying how horrible it looks perched up on the mountain. They are utterly stunned at how huge and beautiful it is sitting high above the park and if they hadn't seen X2 sitting there as you come in Tatsu would be the first ride they want to hop on.

Yes SFMM still has work to do on adding flat rides to round out the park, update areas of the park, getting the theme of certain rides and areas in order but even with work needing to be done SFMM is still one amazing looking park with a skyline like no other. I don't see how any suppose to be coaster enthusiast can't look at that skyline, look at all those coasters and then complain about a parking lot. Yes the coasters that are over p-lots could and would look much better with landscaping no one is denying that but to complain about it for years and years and years is insane imo.
