  1. Isn't there supposed to be some kind of safety or blocking so it is not possible for an operator to dispatch cars too close together on this ride and if there isn't why not? And the cars "normally" bumping in the station......that just seems like you are asking for trouble.
  2. It could also have a removable section of track somewhere in the station area similar to Deja Vu. If they did my guess would be that its at the back end of the station just after the brake run where the last curved section meets the first straight one, or near that as I don't believe it would be near the lift.
  3. You can see Skyhawk through Tidal Wave's loop....cool!
  4. This picture is confusing as it shows one wheel turned 90 degrees in relation to the other two....how is that supposed to work? I would guess Intamin 12 inversion coaster.
  5. If Deja Vu still has the single rider line then 10-15 minutes there.
  6. That was fantastic....thanks! Those are probably the best shots of Green Lantern I have seen so far.
  7. Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies cartoons playing in the ride ques would help to pass the time while waiting in line.
  8. She passed out then fell out? How do you do that?
  9. ^Its still early. Absolutely terrible, my heart goes out to her family.
  10. That's too bad you had that experience. Btw, Goldrusher does have upstops but they are not wheels, strange design.
  11. "Launchable iron"....well maybe that means it is maybe its not.
  12. So.... B&M Launched 24 riders 5,500---track length? I don't know
  13. I absolutely totally 100% disagree with this. If you've ever read any of my KidTums' Korner articles in the Club TPR Magazine you'll see that I'm not alone in my feelings of despising parks that put all of the kids stuff in one area of the park. Why should we be isolated and far away from everyone else? Why can't we go around the park as a family and find kids rides next to big rides? Several parks, including some Six Flags Parks (SFOT), do a great job of mixing in kids and big rides so that families can stay together all day. It's terrible visiting parks where you're basically 'stuck' in a kids area all day while everyone else goes and rides stuff. I absolutely agree with this, it completely makes total sense. Why should kids/families be forced or even segregated to be stuck in one place when the whole family can enjoy the entire park together, riding rides, buying stuff, having a good time. Its fine to have an area dedicated to just kids but there should be kids rides sprinkled around the park so the kids can enjoy the entire park with their families. The spot next to DV is the perfect example of this. If there were a kiddie ride in that spot, the whole family could shoot over there...the kids could ride the little ride while the adults go on DV. Then they all could meet up in that area when they are done- its too perfect!
  14. As was said already, simple inexpensive landscaping looks a lot better than a pile of dirt and the simple landscaping can be easily removed when the attraction is ready to go in. Seriously, if it was your park, would you leave an ugly pile of dirt there for all to see or spend a little money on some nice looking temporary landscaping?
  15. Next year is the year of the 500 foot coaster! Its gotta happen sooner or later, might as well be sooner!
  16. At some point next year I think a Cedar Point visit is in order. I pulled up their site last night, holy coasters batman. LOL!
  17. Btw takedown, those pics are really nice. Thank you for posting them.
