  1. Isn't that gate still there from the last time they had one? And I believe perhaps by spring something will be built for SFHH... Or do you think it could be another year?
  2. Agree... Im shocked that its been so long since SFHH has gotten a new slide.... They need one IMO
  3. I wonder if they will ever announce what will go where flashback was.... Hasn't it been rumored for a year or two that it would be part of a HH expansion? Seems like they are due for a new slide/ride
  4. some updates Wish I lived in FLA, so I could get a Flaming Moe or Krusty Burger
  5. so according to the coaster guy, they got rid of YOLO from the video
  6. http://www.timesheraldonline.com/ci_21474848/possible-suicide-attempt-vallejo-roller-coaster-averted-at
  7. exactly. Go ask those people who make the most annoying commercials (like free credit report.com)' First rule in advertising, if they make you talk about it, they have succeeded in their work
  8. Im guessing 650 or a little more, But it all depends on how WELL SFMM runs the ride IMO
  9. I am most likely repeating myself (sorry if I am), but since its going to be a new themed area and the new ride is not really using the whole area where log jammer was, would SFMM used the terrain left over, for a future coaster/attraction? Hell is there enough space left over for one?.... Also I will go on a hunt for a fact sheet, should be released shortly right?
  10. Thats what i'm betting also..... I have a question for you though. Since this is apparently a new themed area, does this mean that there will be future expansion there (like new rides later on?) it would seem pretty pointless to have a new themed area for just one ride right?
  11. The Coaster Guy ‏@TheCoasterGuy Full Throttle will be in a new themed area, but no word as to exactly what that theme will be yet. So I take it the "unused" areas will be for future expansion? anyway seems like an OK ride, I will enjoy it Edit three: SFMM facebook says spring 2013
  12. I feel its going to be Leaked before thursday.... Weren't the 2012 plans (for all the SF parks) leaked via the LA times last year?
  13. Exactly! And Re: Green Lantern, It seems like they fixed whatever problem they had with the flipping (as some people on here who went recently and posted their trip report) (and including my last visit) are seeming to get more flips on the ride then they would have 1+ month ago
  14. Really? LL:DOD on the side of Superman is better then it having its own tower....... And anyway, A drop tower, is a DROP TOWER, It goes up and then drops you down.... It doesn't really matter where they put it....
  15. I still think it will use the whole (or most) of the area where Log Jammer used to be. It would be pointless to have a coaster there and then just a huge empty area. + like I said above, hasn't that been reported over and over, that the whole area would be used?
  16. We know that its going to use the tunnel (via the Go Big video) so it seems like it will be a long coaster, and not just a short track, RIGHT?
  17. Didn't they say since the beginning that it would use the full terrain (terrain coaster?) (full area) of log jammers spot? Unless we are getting two coasters in that spot? Edit: Im guessing its going to be a long coaster with this at the end?
  18. ^^Whoa...That sounds trippy, I'm having a hard time picturing it. Makes me excited to see the concept art if this is true. EDIT: Still trying to figure this out... is he saying it's going to be a dual-tracked steel coaster, or like it'll traverse both "paths" in the same circuit, like going through one, doing some other stuff, then coming back through the other? Yes I am also still a little confused by the description. Though I hope its true. Just thought I would post it here.
  19. via screamscape That actually seems interesting, no?
  20. according to Coaster guy, Sling shot pieces are gone
  21. If that was the case wouldn't most of the SF FB pages do it? I know there are MANY stupid GP FB posts, but in todays age FB is how many companies communicate with their customers. They get good questions/ criticism (like say a park employee who did something that should be looked into) Complaints (like say food they got was undercooked and got them sick,) and questions for park goers who are visiting and wanting to know what to expect.) and so on...
  22. Its been over a month and SFMM still has comments on their FB page disabled. I think they are the only SF park I have seen to disable posting of comments. Wonder why they won't turn it back on.
  23. Did they ever come out and say they were announcing the ride? I think people just read way too much into something that wasn't actually there. didn't they say they would be announcing it way earlier then they usually do for new coasters, due to the amount of work that will be needed to get done?
