Went to the park yesterday and it was surprisingly empty. The longest wait was for Loggers Run which was only about 20 minutes. Also the RB crew was awesome! Just get in, pull down the restraint, check restraints and dispatch. Even with all three trains there was no stacking and no waiting in the station. The RC crew on the other hand just sucked. Horribly. It did rain on and off for most of the afternoon but that made for an insane ride on Viper which is really redeeming it's self for its crappy performance last season. Most of the coasters closed for a while after the rain with most reopening with the exception of Demon. The only thing I saw closed all day was all of BBNP (not LD) which I assume was just for maintenance since Porkys Buzzy Bees had part of the "honey comb" removed. Over all it was a great day and it was great to be with Jo and Jeremie again.

http://www.pioneerlocal.com/gurnee/news/2327076,gurnee-coaster-060310-s1.article This actually isn't Chang, It's Riddlers Revenge. Magic Mountain is taking it out for the new 500 foot Intamin inverted floorless stand up. My amazing source told me, but I can't tell you who it is. Seriously though while I'm happy were getting it I really don't want it to bring an end to IW. Also I hope it keeps its color scheme as it looks pretty darn sexy. It's Medusa pain job was just god awful.

Here's part of the park newsletter email from today. It announces three new thrill rides and a family ride. I'm assuming that the thrill rides will be built first because they take longer to build than kiddy and family rides. Not too crazy about 3/5 thrill rides going upside down. I hope the other two don't. I'll make sure to post some construction pics soon. - Mike. -
Track Spottings!

Don't forget about SF Dubailand. I know they wanted to (not sure if they have) start construction last year so it is possible this could be heading there. Batman clone perhaps? -

Yes! Saturn 6 is still there! I was worried that it would get torn down with the rest of Astroland and I really want to ride it since I've heard that it can get pretty insane. -

According to this KD;s Hurler got trims in the same spot. EDIT: ^Beat me to it! -
How I love pictures of Bon Bon land. The new ride looks awesome and looks like it swings pretty high up.

Yay mine got posted. Another great update although IMHO it seems Sea Wolrd CA. is kinda neglected ride wise compared to the other Sea Worlds. It's about time they got a nice full sized coaster. While they might be focusing more on there animals than in the other parks, they really don't have anything that will make people want to go there more than Sea Word Orlando or Sea World SA.

^ There is only one train. With the new brakes I think they would be able to run two but not until they fix all the problems and yes the queue will fill up. They have been reports of hour + waits for LD. Yes only running one train has something to do with it, but the ride is short so that really shouldn't effect it too much. I'm sure after a year or so the queue will go down dramatically. -

Lone Star Splash Down is done! The park sent me some photos and as soon as I saw them I ran down there to get some of my own. They even put a camera on a car while testing and sent me the POV! The GM said that they're getting the ride completely ready for opening and all testing will be done before they work on the rest of the park. They should be done in about 2-3 weeks. I can't wait to see the rest of the park take shape! As for Vertigo...it's being sent back to KY. They should start taking it down within the next month. However as stated in a newspaper article Premier will be building them an exact shuttle loop clone. The colors will most likely remain the same. The reason they choose Premier is because they helped them upgrade the shuttle loop and all the new supports where made by Premier. Because the supports are different then the supports when it operated in KY, the supports will not be sent back. The park will also be able to keep some of the parts they upgraded. KK has agreed to pay for all shipping costs and repaid any money the park put towards the lease, so really they only paid for the shipping to bring the ride to the park, but enough with the talking. Onto the photos and video! Lone Star Splash Down POV Overview Big ole Station Drop out of the station Small drop and tunnel The big and final drop Another view of the drop. Some water cannons for guests to spray people with might be added here. Same fountains and the water fall. Another overview. Bye for now! Enjoy the pov! -
Backwards :: RCT3 Movie

That was awesome! I loved how it ended, very unexpected. Your insanely talented and I hope you keep making RCT movies for a long time, they really are amazing. The only thing I can think of to improve them is if you added talking instead of just subtitles, because at the parts where its really quit, just reading the lines makes it seem a bit dull. Some dramatic background music could help in those sections. Other than that I loved it and can't wait for Saw: Redemption. 9/10 -
Great Orlando Wheel
deathbydinn replied to deathbydinn's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Oh haha. I just found out about it this morning, geuss I should have looked farther into it -
Does anyone know if the Great Orlando Wheel is open yet or when it's supposed to open? Everywhere I look just says scheduled to open 2010, but it never says what day and I want to know if it will be open when I'm in Florida. Thanks.

Great pictures! Could you tell if they're adding any more structures for the ropes course? -
Just sent in my ET rant! I agree with whats been said that ROTM is much more a family coaster but when you add the building, theming and dark ride section, it becomes a pretty kick @$$ ride!

What Was The Last Coaster You Rode?
deathbydinn replied to SharkTums's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Woah, that is one weird coaster. It looks like a roller skater with an inversion. The last coaster I rode was last train of the day on Whizzer at SFGAM. -

Thats insanely awesome and insanely nerdy! Do you have any more more pictures from Janfusun Fancyworld? That's defiantly a park you dont hear about a lot. Same with Entertainment City.
