^Yep. I've been asked that before in my time working at parks. More than once.

I just can't wait for the rabid fan-people for this new ride. They might compete with the 305 fan-people as the most psychotic on the interwebs!

It's already been said, but they were messing with the enthusiasts that were there for Coaster Stock.

I think the last Intamin steel coaster to open in the U.S. (not counting half-pipes) with lapbars was TTD. Am I wrong?

^^You do realize the "Huss GF" thing was just something they did to mess with the enthusiasts at Coaster Stock, right?

^^Ran fine the entire day I was there in late June. Two days down is better than two months (see: opening season). It's always had early season trouble, too. Pretty par for the course if you ask me.

^Imagine that, a business plan trying to draw in new people and make money. Cedar Fair is evil.

^Nor have I until this year. Rode in the back row and it was the best ride I've ever had on it. Turning the trim off has done wonders for that ride.

Wait, so it's not a 12-inversion coaster? Hopefully it's a 4D Aquatrax with rotating seats and fire effects!!!

^^Whether or not Green Lantern is the best stand up coaster is a matter of opinion, but it is nowhere near the smoothest. They should have named it the Green Rattler, the name would have been more appropriate. Riddler and Georgia Scorcher are both much, much smoother, and the ride I had on Mantis this year was like glass.

^Rebel Yell, Hurler, and Grizzly. They're all within a stone's throw of each other.

^To add on what he said, they literally told us during orientation last year that the White Lightnin' thing was to throw people off the trail. Do you guys really think they would just write "Huss GF" on a wooden stake and leave it out there if that's what they were getting? Come on, you know better.

There's been a contract for everything. I'm surprised no parks have contracted any killers to take out the competition.

^Case in point: Nighthawk typically has a wait that's about an hour long while Intimidator has a 15 minute wait, yet Intimidator's hourly throughput is usually about 3 times that of Nighthawk.

^I know you rant on this same crap all.the.time. But seriously, getting a GCI and an Intamin hyper isn't too bad. And getting a Vekoma flyer honestly isn't that bad, either, considering there are very few of them in the world and they were pretty cutting edge at the time. And even Joker's Jinx is a nice ride for them, as well. The park has underperformed for years, and that's why they aren't getting anything. They've started to clean their image up, and whaddaya know! they're getting a new ride. I'm no lover of Six Flags, but they don't exactly have the greatest park in the world to work with at SFA.

^Did people really think the park wasn't going to take the ride out after THEY ANNOUNCED THEY WOULD? SFA people.............

I think they should build a ZacSpin inside the first big helix.
