Speaking of height requirements, I find it funny that my daughter(42" tall) can ride demon at six flags gurnee, but she can't ride disaster transport at cedar point. I seem to have this problem with a lot of rides at cedar fair parks. I had(and still am) having a hard time explaining to her why she can ride certain rides at one park, but can't at another.

I rode bizzaro for the first time this summer. I think the ride is just...meh. The restraint system hurt. It comes down and lands on my leg in a weird place. And to top it off, they seem to like to staple you on this ride. This coaster may make it into my top 20, but nowhere near my top 10. 1. El toro 2. X2 3. Boulder dash 3. Voyage 4. goliath(mm) 5. I was there on sat, and all the coasters were open except for mindbender. I was shocked to see gasm open after what it looked like a few days ago. The lickskillet section of the park was closed as well, but I noticed a crew of people power washing the area. Sat was a great day to visit. There may have been a few hundred people in the park all day. Everything was a walk on, and we got ert on several coasters thru-out the day. I noticed that they had a staging like area in the parking lot, where they were washing off park equipment and vending machines. Some areas of the park stunk a little bit, but not too bad.

I just got off the phone with the park. They said that the "lickskillet" section of the park was effected, and that they are not sure what rides in that area are going to open. The rest of the park should be open. If that is actually the case, kudos to the park for getting the mess cleaned up this quick.

I hope it does open up this weekend. We have had a trip planned there for a month now. Supposed to be there this sat. Called the park, but can't seem to get a firm answer on weather or not they are going to open this weekend. From the looks of the latest satilite picture.. http://fiducialmark.blogspot.com/2009/09/atlanta-flooding-satellite-images-from.html It looks like the water has gone down a little, but not a lot. Gasm is still under water. Can't see the front of the park from the picture. My main concern is getting on goliath, scorcher, superman, monster mansion.

Looks like a great ride. However..... I don't get the whole nascar theme? It does not fit in with the congo theme in that section of the park at all.

Is there anything left of the park today?

I think el toro takes the cake on "best first drop".
