I know about money "&@$%"! I'm just getting over WCB expenses which occurred all over SoCal and thinking about ACE's two Halloween events and then this pops up. You can take care of your ticket but if you need to crash VERY locally, I know you live close, I'm right here Thurs-Sat.

darklingscribe and everyone else (I think there are about 11 of us who have mentioned going) let's get together either at the start of the day or also for dinner and make it a mini-WCB + two months. I'll be there Thursday afternoon through Saturday morning.

fatdaddy: don't know if you can get them at the park, but it's so easy to just get them ahead of time and print them out. I emailed AAA a couple of times and they got back to me quickly with replies.

There seems to be a few of us TPR's going to this. Anyone want to hook-up for a get together/dinner maybe right around when the park closes to the public and then becomes our private six hour ERT fiesta? We can make it a mini-WCB.

Any Theme Park Review members going to the AAA event at Six Flags Magic Mountain Friday May 21st? I am and let's get together for a dinner or gathering of some sort. I'll be up there from Thursday the 20th through Saturday May 22nd.

Eric (EBL), do Friday May 21st with the AAA gang. Yeah when I was in high school Spring Break was always the week before Easter. It was called Easter Vacation, but in these PC days it's Spring Break and whenever the school's decide. Some colleges are on the semester system and others are on the quarter system. High school's schedule it when it's convienent. LAUSD took off two weeks ago, Torrance had this past week, and here in Long Beach they have three weeks, through this week. I think come Monday April 26th it's all over.

This Friday is still Spring Break for a lot of schools. Maybe that's it.

After a GREAT time at WCB, I am ticketed and ready for AAA day/night at SFMM on May 21st.

Of all the times I've rode X2 I always seem to get banged after the fire effect as you go through the 'mist/light' area. If my heads not back against the backpad I get banged. I also try to ride in Jay Thomas' favorite seat, inside front row as you leave the station.

Just wish TPR had some pull and they could have added "KISS Meets The Phantom".

Spring Break Shark Attack has to be worst ever. It wasn't even bad in a 'bad' way. For anyone else into horrible films make sure you see 'The Creeping Terror' and check out the production notes on Wikipedia.

One more item, and I don't want to stretch my welcome, is here in LA at the Nokia Theatre for Earth Day, they are showing Avatar, with Cameron and a lot of the cast in person. Sorry I don't have the exact website but it's probably something like earthday.com, lalive.com, etc...

Actually here on the West Coast I can watch it. On my cable company I get the East Coast feed (at 6pm) on the HD channel and the SD feed is the usual one at 9pm.

I want to hang out with who's ever ( or is it, 'who evers, ? ) going. Let's all get together for a mini-TPR group at the AAA event! There seems to be seven of us, I make eight, so far on this thread.

Just received a reply from AAA. SFMM says AAA members can bring guests with them, just be sure the actual AAA member purchases the tickets. Also this is AAA exclusive, no other groups are participating in the 6-midnight ERT.

The best part of Mystery Lodge was at Haunt '09 when it was Terror of London. And that wasn't all that great.

Placed an email into AAA to see if this is an exclusive night for them, and also to see if someone can bring non-AAA guests. Also wondering what all will be open from 6-midnight.

I was thinking of going. I am a AAA member and am ready for SFMM with such a low price and maybe non-summer/break crowds and ERT after some depression after WCB. Just wondering if it is just for AAA or several other groups at the same time. A lot of colleges 'gang' together and do this too, I know, I've sponsored them. Email me if a bunch of us joint TPR's and AAA's want to go.

Driver or passenger side?

I have ridden everything at SFMM but the problems I had were: 1. The restraints on Revolution bust my ears and head. 2. The helix on Goliath 'greys' me out. 3. The loop on Viper causes extreme neck and upper back pain until I knew to sit all the way back against the rest. Also one of the later loops on X2 killed my neck and back until I rode it with Jay and he told me of his favorite seat, after that, no problem.
