You just noticed it's point! It set out to be insulting! It challenges the way of 'normal' thinking and shows a different way. Sure, it might be crude, but would you really want to watch a boring debate about the subject, or a funny, crude show that gets their point across just as well? Crude? YES! Pointless? NO! No one has found a way to counteract the views portrayed, and untill the other parties can convey their point of views as poignantly and 'in your face' as Southpark, hopefully people will see the Liberal views posted in the show!

Looks just like an expansion ring, designed to hold tighter the more you screw it down. Most often seen in extnding poles for mops and so forth. And that one looks like its designed to be used once
