  1. When I worked there, I heard that Falcon's Fury was a test for the 300ft. threshold. We'll see if they try to best it again.
  2. These are my two babies. The one on the left, Charlie, is a 1.5 years old pure-bred golden Dachshund. Abby is on the right, and she is a (possibly) 3 year old dachshund/beagle mix. Both are rescues from my fiancee's grandmother's rescue.
  3. Unless you buy a Howl-o-scream ticket, you will be kicked out at 5 or 6, whenever normal operating hours are over. If you add HOS, I would also purchase the Fright Feast, as you can stay in the park, eat a buffet, watch a show, AND get Quick Queue for the first hour. It's a great deal.
  4. I'd do the mini-US tour pending money after my wedding. Maybe I could convince the fiancee to join.
  5. The park is always has daily operation. The first time it closed for the day in the past few years was due to TS Debby last year. Though I heard that after this weekend, weekdays are going to be 10am-5pm only. So plan accordingly to one less hour if you don't go on a weekend. But it will not be busy between HOS and Christmas, so any day in between will be fine.
  6. Who said anything about Skyride? It's still open, weather permitting.
  7. Ok, I'm sure they have very minor injuries, like scrapes and bruises. But I'm sure she meant broken arms and internal bleeding. Scrapes and bruises from the rides or falling on the ground? True!

  9. Desert Grille is good, but Smokehouse is better! Gwazi is closed because it was hit by lightning during a storm on Friday. They are trying to fix it now. I'm sure they want to have it open during the busy summer season before they try to shut it down for good.
  10. Rain is not as bad as it is now, but it is variable. Howl-o-Scream is in October, so it could be busy during the day and closer to the day closure, which I believe is 6 or 7pm. Just do the test seat outside Cheetah Hunt before riding.
  11. Holy epic deal Batman!! $50 for a weekday only one-day ticket. Ticket prices right now are $79 online! micechat.com/forums/seaworld-orlando/184873-new-$50-weekday-ticket-seaworld-orlando-busch-gardens-tampa.html thrillgeek.com/seaworld-orlando-and-busch-gardens-tampa-to-offer-50-weekday-ticket/
  12. Any word from Rocky Mountain and their statement on the accident?
  13. Measuring guests for height, not weight! I know Montu is OTSR restraints, but if the computer system says the restraint is locked, then they are clear to ride, no matter what weight they are. It's unfortunate that she fell out and the investigation will determine exactly what caused the accident. However, we cannot just tell a person they cannot ride because they are too large when they can be safely locked into the seat.
  14. It's been less than one day and her photo already says "Rest in Peace"? The first photo to be publicly made of her? I don't know if her children or family members would have already edited a photo when they just announced her name the day after her death.
  15. Where did you see $20? The kiosk outside of Montu shows the single use per ride as $32 for adults. Do you think you saw the child price?
  16. Behind the first row of each car is four green lights that turn on when the corresponding restraint is closed enough. For many of my rides the ride op behind the panel made the workers recheck certain cars restraints for whatever reason. I would have a very hard time believing that a train could leave the station with a restraint not closed down far enough, they were very adamant in making sure every restraint was closed as far as it could go. On Montu, we have a light for each restraint behind the row and in the panel. Even if the seat belt is secured, the restraint may not have clicked the full three times, and the light will not turn on. If a light is not on, we cannot send the train out of the station. So if NTAG's system is the same, then her restraint was secure enough for the computer system to allow the train to leave the station.
  17. A new house at Howl-O-Scream! "Death Water Bayou" http://seaworldparks.com/en/howloscream-tampa/13/06-The-Voodoo-Queen
  18. Mine fit the description perfectly! Even without the pesky SBNO coaster!
