  1. Here is my design, I hope this helps get the support needed to keep such a classic coaster alive! The front displays the tragic death many roller coasters face. The back reminds everyday people (Like you and me) that they can be apart of a big effort in preserving history!
  2. ^You guys need to get over the lapbars, they are dead! I just checked Six Flags website and they have Green Lantern's height requirement listed as 48 inches. This makes me very happy for all the little ones in my family that are years away from 54 inches.
  3. The rumors are we can expect a new restaurant in that location.
  4. Don't tease with things that will never happen! I love Disk-O-Coasters, it would be a dream come true if SFMM eventually got one. I'll even take the "skater" model, though not as good, still a great ride.
  5. SAVE SIERRA FALLS!!!! NO!!! Not Sierra Falls! SFMM is losing the best water ride they have!
  6. You would think that this would be more than enough brakes to stop a train traveling under 38 MPH.
  7. ^The answer to that question is no. They wouldn't be operating this ride if they didn't know the cause/solution to the ride's malfunction. I am still pretty shocked that this thing reopened so quickly, If only things would have gone so smooth last year with Xcelerator.
  8. Pony Express has indeed reopened! After the accident they took the unaffected halves from each train to make the train that is currently operating on the ride. The front car affected in the accident is missing from the storage track I would share more pictures of Pony Express, but I'm positive nobody cares. Moving on to a more interesting subject, Xcelerator's "Red Train" appears to be almost ready for operation! The shell is now a darker shade of red and features a more Patriotic flare too! Here you can see the darker red shell with patriotic flames! This patriotic flare continues through the entire train.
  9. And that is why I am so excited to see this ride get installed at SFMM. Before reading about TPR falling in love with Insane on the Scandi tour I looked at this ride as if it was the "Volare" of 4D coasters. Finding out that insane was actually INSANE, I started to get a lot more interested in this ride. The ride has 3 very good things going for it 1. Robb loves it! 2. The voters (Mitch Hawker Poll) love it! 3. It's an Intamin!
  10. What??? I'm sorry. Is English not your primary speaking language? What part of my post did you not understand? I believe he is in a state of disbelief on how someone with your credit status can rate this coaster so highly. I'm pretty confident that I (someone who is close to 300 pounds) will always get an amazing ride out of this coaster.
  11. ^ If it continues to operate how it currently does, I wouldn't expect to see much or any of the red section while riding.
  12. ^ I'm really surprised at the all the disappointment towards Superman: Escape From Krypton. Getting the chance to ride Superman backwards has been a fanboy dream for as long as I could remember (The first time I rode it, I thought how neat it would be to ride reverse,) and now that the dream is finally coming true people seem unexcited. As for the Zacspin... I never thought this ride would ever end up on U.S. soil and now that it has, I feel like SFMM is bringing two big fanboy dreams to life! So thank you Six Flags!
  13. From watching the video it looks like the Green Lantern is going to be where Lecter's Slaughter House is. Just Between Tidal Wave and Gotham City. And somewhere over the rainbow.
  14. ^^ Oh Sweet! The only rides that I've ever had Issues with are Intamin Impulse coasters, and Morgan's single lapbar wooden coaster trains.
  15. I don't "Airtime" is something that will get more attention from the General public. I think gimmicks are what bring people to the park. Most visitors run to rides that feature outrageous designs like X2 and Tatsu. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for a coaster with airtime at the mountain, but I just don't see how that would be a more successful investment than what they are doing right now.
  16. Yay! I'm a big guy! Hopefully not too big though, I do want to fit! I keep watching the video hoping to find the message "Suck it, Cedar Point!" in the clouds somewhere. Here's to hoping they improve Superman's launch so the train actually makes it to the red section of the tower.
  17. I'm excited! I'm hoping to go to Florida next year for Disneyworld ect... and now I have something more to look forward to. Great layout, great pacing, (3 launches seem to help that) cool theme, lame name (But I don't care!) and LAPBAR! = Love it! It would be even more of a delight to find out if the ride will be featuring the "T-Bar" restraint.
  18. My Girlfriend got stung by a Bee a couple years ago while riding Scream! Got her right on the stomach! I noticed her crying around the time we hit the MCBR, pretty funny.
  19. There is no test seat on display for X/X2.
  20. ^Does that really matter? Terminator certainly is missing that cyclone bay vibe to it... Yeah, with Battlestar Galactica "ejector" seats. Some people just have outrageous expectations.
  21. I was thinking maybe both sides of Superman will offer a different experience than the other. ^Good Point! Deja Vu could easily receive a transformation.
