The Official East Coast Bash 2011 Thread!
Shammy replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Quick question: can TPR forum members that are NOT Club TPR members, bring guests? A friend of mine wants to go, but he doesn't have an account here. He also doesn't want to sign up for one. -
The Official East Coast Bash 2011 Thread!

Me and my twin brother were planning on going to Hershey sometime this summer! Count us in! -
I usually try to watch what I eat during the year, but it's obviously harder when it's during the fall and winter. I love a good roasted turkey breast and fried chicken and a nice filet, medium well. So really it depends on the season. I lose weight during the spring and summer but I plump up a little bit during the colder months.

Hersheypark (HP) Discussion Thread
Shammy replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I'm willing to bet the new ride is going to be either a copy of Griffon or a Hyper Coaster. Either of them will be a good addition to Hershey. As much as I love the current coasters at Hershey, they NEED a hyper coaster without inversions or loops. Airtime can be fun, too! -
I visited Florida when I was 9 years old. It's CLEARLY not as cool as WISCONSIN! I'll have to tag along with you all when you go to Wisconsin again. "You can't spell Wisconsin without 'sin'!"

The Official TPR "East Coast/Behemoth Trip" Update
Shammy replied to robbalvey's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Oh man, this just looks like WAY too much fun! I will definitely have to go on one of your trips soon! I was thinking about doing 2010, but I'm studying abroad in Ireland, so that's not a possibility. Maybe 2011/2012. Anyway, great photos and they're making me laugh SO hard! Keep 'em coming! -
My rant today is this guy I used to like blocked me on Facebook because I called him out on him being a total a-hole to me. I'm totally over him now, but he's a total jerk. But I just wish that it didn't end this way.

^Well, girls do that a lot, especially at that age. I definitely think that she's trying to be a tease. If I were you, don't worry about girls at your age right now. I mean, you seem like quite the mature kid, which is good, but relationships are not as deep as they are when you're older, so it's nothing but unwanted drama. Take it from me: I didn't start dating until I was 18 and I've only had one boyfriend so far. True, there was some drama, but it was meaningful and I'm glad I waited to start dating. You're not overthinking it, but you're getting yourself into a situation that isn't worth getting in.

Hi everyone. My name is Colleen (but you can call me Sham or Shammy) and I live right outside Philadelphia. I'm about to turn 20 in December and I'm currently a student at Penn State University, majoring in either Political Science or Crime, Law and Justice (still undecided, though xP). Other than my love for politics and law, among other things like casual computer gaming, reading, listening to music, reading blogs, etc., I am, of course, a roller coaster enthusiast. Not a hardcore one, like some I've already seen, but one nonetheless. I remember my first roller coaster was The City Jet Coaster at Wonderland Pier in Ocean City, New Jersey. Since then, I've loved roller coasters and amusement parks in general. Also, my all-time favorite roller coaster would have to be Expedition Everest at Disney's Animal Kingdom. That ride was awesome, in my opinion. I hope to join you guys on a future TPR trip (planning on it for a graduation present and when I have enough money), but until then, I'll enjoy the pictures, video and comments of others and actively participate in the community. *yeah yeah, I know. it seems too 'formal'. that's how I am, so you might as well get used to it lol =P*
