^ Yeah I heard Goliath's crew was having a rough day today. Was it really windy today up there? Down here the winds were pretty much non existent. I was so surprised that sky tower was open when I went on Wednesday. Its been closed like everytime i've been there this year.

You really do take some awesome photos man! Makes the ride look really beautiful.

That sign is awesome!!! Sea World is doing such a great job with this ride. I can't wait to finally see it all in person and see now the ride rides.

^^ Those were good times. Maybe MM is also getting one in 2011 for the chains 50th. And then they would be even. Even is CP builds another. But I highly doubt that. It would be funny though if they did.

I totally agree. I think Scream! has one of the best color schemes. I've always loved it. But it could definitely use some love. It looks beyond faded. Does anyone think that Batman at SFMM needs to be painted? My friends say it looks bad and is in desperate need of paint. But I think it fits the theming to look faded. But maybe I am the only one.

Believe it or not, that turn as well as the egg turn are my favorite parts of the ride. Don't get me wrong the pretzel loop is fun and all. Its just that after a while I am kind of like eh. The downward drop after the flat spin on Manta seems like it should also have that outward force as well. I love that feeling

I must say that I love the the brown of El Toro at SFGAdv. So brown for Intamin But I like blue and red for Intamin. And bright colors for B&M. I love Scream! and Tatsu's colors. And Raptor. And lets just face it all of them. However I am really digging the Deja Vu color scheme on Vekoma tracks.

^ Yeah it would be nice if leads could dress slightly different. Like a style in between a supervisor and ride op. However, I have seen some leads dress in nice clothing like the sups do.

Everytime I see the splash down section of track I can't help but wonder how it is going to feel. I can imagine pretty good, like the turn over the fountain on Tatsu.

Looks like I need to get on the next flight out to New York.

With Manta and HRRR it seems like a really good time to be in Orlando. The elements seem really interesting. Should be a really good ride.

^ Just like how Xcelerator is the fastest coaster in the world. When Superman is only like 80 miles away and goes faster.

^ I think that most guests under estimate the employees and assume that they probably wouldn't or can't do anything about it. I tell someone about people that are being disruptive if I notice that other guests are being bothered. And the employee has always had a "talk" with the rude guest or guests.

Renegade has the transfer right next to the station like that as well. It seems like it is a GCI thing now? I can't wait to get on this thing though!

Yesterday a couple people were smoking behind the main Johnny Rockets. And there were like 2 families down wind from them and I felt so bad. I've smelt a couple times before that. It definitely does happen.

^ Sounds like something I would do. I bet that wrench has been there since it was built too. I was so surprised that sky tower was open. X was open ALL day too. But only had one train on circuit so the wait was still like 25 minutes. Edit: "It" being the sky tower. Not the wrench.

Yeah. I think it is beautiful in person. I just hope that they do some landscaping. I think the trees in between Deja and Terminator make the ride look nicer. It would be nice to see them around the coaster to a splash of color. Plus it would be green to plant some trees to off set the wood they cut down to build the coaster.

^ What about Bizarro?! They are going all out with that one. Very creative you must admit. With every update it seems like the theming gets nicer and nicer. I can't wait to see the final result. I'm sure it will be quite the beautiful sight.

Structurally just that one turn. The wood to the left of the brake run is structure that is already up. Its the transfer/storage area. And Manta only took like what 2 or 3 weeks to test. It'll be done. As we know they are willing to do 24/7 testing to make a schedule.

Has anybody noticed the wrench affixed to the wall at the top of the sky tower? Just curious if anyone knows who signed above and below it. I asked the workers but they looked at me like what wrench? ^Superman was testing today. I guess they have been having trouble for a couple days. But I don't think the guy knew what he was talking about. No one was in any of the trains and there were like 7 dispatches all day. Best wrench ever!

SORRY GUYS!! Here are the photos. But seriously the ride has come A LONG way since I was there a week ago. So I think you'd be surprised how quickly this ride could open. The lift is done structurally. I don't know about tracking. But the turn around to lift is done as well. And they are starting to make the queue. pre show buildings haven't truely started but i heard that some special objects have been placed where they will be. i'll post more when i get home. i'll say that i wouldn't be surprised if they had a soft opening like the middle of may

this update comes from the lovely sky tower. work has come along very quickly. station structure is basiically done. fly through is done. they are also starting to put up railing for the queue on the right side of the ride. sorry for the horrible photos. my camera phone isn't the best.
