Awesome, Im definately going Sunday the 18th which is the first Sunday of the event. (I just found that out. I thought they started on the first weekend of the month) Thanks for the info!

^ They had the Star Flyer because it's the fastest swing ride in the world. I'm not sure if they mentioned anything fast (like how fast the water moves) for the wave machine. I wasn't really listening at that part.

I actually think it's a water ride now. I mean, even though it's apparently not going to get you wet, that hasn't officially been announced by CP. Maybe that was just made up by someone else.

^^^^ Yeah, that's exactly what they were saying on the news. Even smaller kids like the superheroes. A lot of kids go as superheroes for Halloween and I could see it being a big hit at the theme parks. What would be really cool, although I don't see it happening, is a Marvel theme park at WDW.

Maybe...he was a DJ...who played music...in the morning. Never heard of him. I would much rather mourn the death of someone who I don't know that died from cancer than some "famous" DJ who overdosed on drugs.

Is everyone ignoring the fact that CP said it will not get you wet?

The day I went to GAdv (weekday in 2007), there was a bad forecast and a small storm. The longest line we waited in was for the 4D movie, because it was the only ride open during the storm (Skull Mountain closed). We waited approx. 20 minutes. Other than that, most rides were a Walk-on (Batman, Superman, Rolling Tunder) or a small Station Wait (El Toro, Nitro, Skull Mountain, Medusa). So, overall, crowds shouldn't be that bad.

So here's the deal, I'm going to HPITD this October and I have a few questions about it. I would prefer that those who answer have gone after they switched from pay-by-ride to charging an admission fee. Thanks ahead of time for your answers. 1. What are the crowds like? I know that the park only opens on weekends with a reduced admission fee, meaning more people. 2. How long are the lines? What do they range from? How long was the longest you've waited in? 3. What day should I go? My ultimate choice would be a Sunday, but I would like to hear what you request. Your feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
