Located in middle of nowhere Pennsylvania in a tiny town of Elysburg is a park you may have heard of... Knoebels! There is no better way to kick off your season than a ride of Phoenix so we choose to spend the entire opening weekend at the park with was nice since opening day was busy while Sunday was more manageable also was nice to not feel rushed. Anyway onto the photos. Mhm... Pretty sure we are in the right town... Nice that Knoebels is green but really how many times will this get used being in the middle of nowhere Pa and all? Who needs a park entrance??? Not Knoebels Our first stop duh! We got there about 30 minutes till it opened. I see you testing Oooo purdy One of the first trains One more since I couldn't pick one Coming back in Well if you insist... but ok here are my thoughts, You probably know about the recent retracking this past offseason and its not that I don't like it but it did cut some of the airtime out of the ride especially in the "Magic Seat". You don't get as much ejector air anymore but I still love phoenix so go ride it! Stratofear is the new big ride this year strategically located in this guys back yard. No seriously though I do like its location as it the area towards Twister was very dead. The ride area (We didn't ride until sunday when the line was a lot shorter) 4 ops for one flat and no physical restraint checks, Only at Knoebels! Trying to be "Artsy" Going uppp If you visit on a non-pop day expect to pay $2, Jack. One last look Flying Turns trains being shy Looper is always a must, especially when you need to crack your back. SNAP!!!! It was just a "little" busy Want a Carmel Apple? Just look for the apple! Love these things! Hefty line for the pirate ship Whip Next we ended up up here Purdy Going down The new skyline Ermahgerd it's Space Mountain Next stop anything must ride! Seriously expect to break through the side when I go down. What parks will let people enter 4 hours early for breakfast at a restaurant in the back of the park? Not any, I recommend it. Not only is it really good but it is nice to stroll through the park with no one around. Those are new Gotta give twister some love I will be riding the 2nd version this weekend Never seen this photo before, right? Quick ride on the train. And train #2 Beautiful but a true beast that river. When you see that sign it means only one thing! Still my #1 flat! Ermahgerd this ride is so awesome I want to marry it... Knoebel's has a giant bread shaped building which does not sale anything bread related! Ok I have a problem, I have been using Windows Live photo gallery to resize my photos when I post TRs. Never had a problem with it. However I had to retire my laptop and am stuck with my desktop which uses the newest version on WLPG so when I resize my photos it increases the size of the photos over the 2 MB limit for here. Does anyone know of a solution? Thanks in advance.

^ Yes that should be plenty of time especially with the fast lane. Also Challenge Park normally remains open an hour after the park closes and lines will be short or non-existent.

I am stuck on second shift during the week and all my vacation time for this year is going to Japan so it will be impossible for me to attend an event during the week.

I love how the park continued the great theming as seen around the rest of the park on this ride and got the Magic Mountain down perfectly with ad-wraps on every surface possible. The only thing missing was a single train operation.

Always said a Real World: Cedar Point would be perfect! But, I am sure it will just be another one of MTV's pretty bad series.
