WOW!!!! Thank you all for helping and make the proper correction about the manufacturer of this atracctions. Some of you requested more pictures of the river rapids, here they are: This one includes a panoramic view but I guess it must be at original size so it can be viewed without problem. Also, at this link you can se pictures of the construcction process from page 2 to page 5, and from 5 to 7, more pictures of the park: http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=616794&page=3 I hope you like it!

Finally the new coaster opened on March 19 with many local artist and with the VIP guest, Michael Antinoro, Executive Vice President, Entertainment and Marketing of the Six Flags Chain. On his speech, he told that the DKC is a family atracction that will bring truly emotions to the mexican family. The most relevant thing that he told is that in a few months they will unveil the new atracctions that will rise on all the parks for the 50th anniversary celebration that will start on 2010 and finish in 2011. The coaster is adapted on the old train area that used to cross from "Pueblo Vaquero" to "Hollywood". The theming ís in english language, similar of the colones installed on the other SF parks. The only thing that is different, is the video on the pre-show that the audio es dubbed in Spanish language. Here are some pics of the event: Overall, this coaster is a great adittion for the park, and the Mexican guests really enjoy the DKC!!! -

A bunch of news of this coaster: Check the latest pictures at this link: http://montanarusa.com/forum/index.php?topic=5914.75 Also the local TV commercials, shows that the coaster will open on March 21! -
You´re right jedimaster1227, that´s an artwork of Sheikra. That´s why I send them an e- mail to check why they used this artwork for the note, and the answer is this link: http://www.elatedww.com/crimson_002.htm I don´t know if they do this to atract investors, or a B&M Diving coaster is proyected for the park. If this second option is true, maybe this could become the first B&M coaster for Mexico. Let´s wait for more information.

New Artwork!!! Check the new illustrations of Mayan Adventure! Source: http://www.parquestematicos.org/noticias/2009/ver-noticia.asp?id=120 The image at the left side shows a diving coaster, but the track looks like a Vekoma or S&S-Arrow. Maybe that´s a new prototype. I´m curious about this drawings!

The mysterious yellow B&M!
Miltonmx replied to jarmor's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
WOOOW!! That´s amazing! Good job! You really capture the B&M hypercoaster essence. I have a question. How can I record a video with no limits with a white landscape? Yo mention how you do with pictures, but not with video. Thanks and congratulations! -
Well, I have another theory. As you know, SF Mexico, is building the Batman Dark Knight Coaster that was originally planned for SF New England. Before this coaster was announced, the rumors claimed that the first B&M coaster for Mexico could be the next big project for this park. On the press conference, Shapiro told the media that another important atracction will come for the 2010 season: Source: http://www.elfinanciero.com.mx/ElFinanciero/Portal/cfpages/contentmgr.cfm?docId=155877&docTipo=1&orderby=docid&sortby=ASC Also there is somethings else that supports this theory. Batman The Ride is the only yellow track coaster of the park, and it will be repainted to change the colors at the moment unknown. The boomerang coaster is now at this process and will change from red track to purple, and blue supports to green. I have no more arguments, but as all theorys, this is one possibility.

Well. I guess I can answer your question. Medusa is considered the best wooden coaster of Mexico. Maybe thats nothing special if you consider that we only have 2 woodies on the country. But Maybe this experience could help you: When Superman El Ultimo Escape opened on November 2004, Steven Urbanovics (RIP) was invited as the VIP guest for the inauguration. He rode both coasters, Superman, and Medusa, making that the number 700 of his personal coaster count. When he finished riding the coasters, he told me that Superman was his number 3 steel coaster, and Medusa, his number 1 wooden coaster. In my personal opinion, Medusa is an excellent wooden coaster that take advantage of the terrain to make the first drop higher, and the rest of the ride smooth and thrilling. If you want to know something more, just let me know! -

lol Well actually, there is a big theory about it. Before Shapiro arrives to the company, the directors of Six Flags Mexico travelled to Magic Mountain to ride Tatsu and other coasters. They caw and compared all the coasters to see which kind of coaster fits better to SF Mexico. The rummors told that the first B&M coaster for The park and the country, was on the designing process. Then Shapiro arrived, and we know the rest of the story. No one knows what happened with the proyect, but maybe the answer can be given at 2010. Well... NOW HERE ARE THE NEWS!! Official Video: Official logo: Official press release in spanish: Soon, more pics of the construcction, and traslation of press release! -

Well. Usually the new rides and atractions are opened for "Semana Santa" (2 weeks that usually are given for vacation on March and/or April) That´s the most crowdwed weeks for the park in the year. But sometimes, external situations change the plans for the park, and important atracctions have opened in different Months. For Example: Medusa CCI Wooden Coaster- Opened on June caused by a delay on construcction process. Superman El Ultimo Escape Chance-Morgan Hyper Coaster - Opened on November caused by a 2 year delay for political and corruption reasons. Maybe this coaster will no be offically announced soon to avoid the same political problems, and maybe on January or February when the construcction is more advanced, they decide to announce. -

Saludos desde México! Well, the word "Grave" is usually used to express a critical situation... just a cultural comment. About the new coaster, there is no official announcement, but there are different clues. 1st, clue: Work at the site. at the montanarusa.com forums are several pictures showing work near the "Rueda India" (A Ferris Wheel), and the station of the defunct "Tren Santa Fe" (A Train): http://montanarusa.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5523&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=105 2nd. Clue: A Local news paper, showed this note last week: http://www.milenio.com/node/109611 "The economical situation won´t affect the growing plans for Six Flags México. Next Week (This Week) Six Flags CEO Mark Shapiro will visit the park to present the new investment program and the new atracctions for the park." If there´s something new, I´ll tell you! -

I´m Shoked!! All that Vekoma Information is like Gold!! I need to know something, if someone can help me. The Picture of the boomerang coaster, shows a model that maybe opened in 1984. The only Boomerang coaster that opened that year and at the date, there´s no picture available, is the one located at Puebla, México. I was wondering if that boomerang is picture is of the one that was located at Puebla, because the colors of structure and train, are the same of the Boomerang relocated at Reino Aventura (Now Six Flags Mexico). Any information that helps to find a picture of the Boomerang at Puebla will be apreciated! Thanks! -
